BMW Engine Parts for BMW 3 Series E93 (2007-2013)

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover set, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

Replaces OEM Part Numbers: 11127848153 & 11127848154

Enhance your BMW's performance with the upgraded BAV Ignition Coil, designed to boost firepower and optimize engine efficiency. These coils boast modified core windings for a faster, more efficient burn, resulting in increased torque at lower RPMs and heightened horsepower in the upper range. While improvements depend on your engine's condition, these coils ensure noticeable enhancements in performance and potential fuel economy benefits.

Product Benefits:

Improved engine firepower and efficiency
Increased torque at lower RPMs
Enhanced horsepower in higher ranges
Potential improvement in fuel economy
Set of six for complete BMW Cooper replacement

From the factory, BMW S65 valve cover bolts feature integrated non-serviceable grommets. These rubber seals tend to weaken, becoming brittle after years of heat and oil exposure. Replacing these bolts and integrated grommets can total over $280

To address this issue, NRW has developed a solution: a silicone replica of the factory rubber grommet, boasting a superior heat resistance of 170 degrees Celsius compared to the original's 120 degrees Celsius. Each kit contains 26 grommets, enough to service both valve covers.

Featuring silver fine wire center electrode - Superior ignition ability increases engine power!

Although these come pre-gapped we highly recommend double checking the plug gap upon receiving them and adjusting to your vehicle's individual needs.
For the N55/S55, these plugs are 2 Steps Colder, while for the N54 they are 3 Steps Colder.

Note that BMW Spark plugs require a special 12 point 14mm thin walled socket. We have several options available in our catalog that will help you get your spark plugs changed. The BMW part number for the tool is 83300495560, but we recommend the Schwaben brand T#373727 that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Brisk Silver Racing Spark Plugs are the best solution for high performance and racing engines. Silver Spark Plugs provide many unique and beneficial characteristics, Silver is taking spark plug technology to a whole new level, here are many reasons why our Brisk Silver Racing Spark Plugs are beneficial for your engines performance. Silver is the best conductor of any metal! It conducts 560% more electricity & 481% more heat than Platinum, and 276% more electricity & 177% more heat than Iridium.

Silver spark plug electrodes transfer electricity & heat better than any other spark plug material resulting in the most powerful spark! This is beneficial for a full complete combustion of the available fuel and air in the combustion chamber, combustion efficiency creates horsepower gains.

Key Benefits and Applications of Brisk Silver Racing Spark Plugs:

Silver is the best Electric and Heat Conductor - the best material for performance and racing spark plugs

When it comes time to change your spark plugs, you may wonder about colder stepped spark plugs as many others have. Colder spark plugs work by pulling more heat out of the engine's cylinders (making them "colder") and dissipating it into the engine's head, which is then cooled by the cooling system. Depending on how you have your engine built, these could be a great addition! Colder plugs can help prevent engine knock and prevent the tip of the spark plug from melting or misfiring.

There are two rules that most people tend to go by when deciding on which spark plugs to buy:

The first rule of thumb is that with every 100 horsepower added, you should run spark plugs that are a step colder than your stock plugs. This is generally accepted across the motorsports community but unfortunately isn't always the most accurate measurement of when you will need colder plugs.
The second rule is to go a step colder any time you massively alter cylinder temperatures by adding forced induction to an NA engine, by increasing compression ratio, after altering timing in a major way, or by changing fuel types to something with a higher octane rating such as racing fuel.
Adding spark plugs that are a step colder outside of these conditions, with no real change to the engine, can actually hurt more than help by leading to spark plugs fouling quicker than normal and by making the car harder to start in cold weather conditions.
