Installation:

Vehicle plastic belly pans may vary. Because the Turner 8HP transmission pan is taller to allow for increased fluid capacity, some vehicles may require trimming of the plastic belly pan, or the belly pan may need to be installed over the transmission pan where it may make contact.

It only takes a gust of wind to have your hood crashing down on your head, or if you have a carbon fiber hood and no longer have the gas struts than this could be what you need.
