This is a must-have for ALL BMWs, and simply installs in place of your existing drain plug. With every oil change you perform on your BMW, you'll be able to inspect for metal shavings and debris. What's better than using standard connecting rod bearings in your next engine build? Using our Turner Motorsport WPC-treated bearings! Our process begins with King Engine Bearings bearing shells. Designed with performance and load capacity in mind, King's SV Series bearings feature a Lead-free, tri-metal Silver-based overlay with a Babbitt plating made to provide seizure resistance. Ideal for extreme-load engines, it serves as an OE replacement and can be employed as a sputter replacement. Despite offering great wear and friction resistance, the engineers at Turner Motorsport saw an opportunity to further improve King's bearing design with WPC surface treatment. WPC reduces friction and adds strength, vastly enhancing the durability of critical internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds—similar to shot-peening, but on a much smaller scale. The treated parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. This is an OEM INA Idler Pulley, also known as the roller pulley or deflection pulley. The idler pulleys are known to be the primary sources for 'belt squealing'. The pulley is also encased in rubber which will crack over time. If left without service the rubber could fail completely, chucking the belt and leaving you stranded. Replacement is a very simple procedure and can be done anytime the fan is off the engine (belt replacement, water pump service, alternator replacement, etc).
