South Bend Clutch Stage 3 Daily Driver clutch kits are recommended for a single mass flywheel (SMF), when the original design is a dual mass flywheel (DMF). These clutch packages are designed for high-horsepower vehicles desiring a start performance similar to OE. The pressure plate is race-engineered (SS) and SFI-approved with a significant load increase over stage 1 and 2 pressure plates (+600-800 lbs.). Expect a pedal effort increase of 20 to 25 percent. Discs are assembled with heat-treated wear-resistant hubs, as well as drive plates and springs for high-load transfer and dependable operation.
