Bluestuff NDX is an intermediate grade trackday and race pad making it the material of choice for many club level racers and serious trackday enthusiasts. However, due to Bluestuff having excellent cold friction and being very controllable, this compound has quickly become the brake pad of choice for performance road car drivers in USA and Asia markets where R90 homologation does not apply. More recently, EBC are pleased to announce that Bluestuff has passed extensive road-focused testing and gained R90 approval on some E.U. fitments, making it unique in being the first truly track-focused pad which is also perfectly legal for use on the public roads across Europe. There is no requirement for E.U. customers to inform their insurance company following the fitment of R90 approved pads. For customers with the experience of EBC’s widely acclaimed Yellowstuff material, Bluestuff boasts a similar friction profile but with a usefully higher friction coefficient across the now larger working range, feeling much like you’d imagine Yellowstuff to feel after a double hit of espresso. Bluestuff has a high friction coefficient without feeling grabby, taking things up a notch from EBC’s Yellowstuff material by bringing superb pedal modulation to a track pad with even greater fade resistance. However, being a track-focused material, customers may experience a noticeable increase in both brake dust and brake noise. As is often the case with friction materials, an increase in ultimate performance is often met by an increase in noise and dust.

These 2-piece floating rotors help dissipate heat better than a standard cast iron rotor and are also lighter for less unsprung weight. Managing heat in the brake system is vital to braking performance, especially on the track or when driven hard. It's why your brake rotors have internal vanes that vent heat as the rotor spins. These 2-piece ECS rotors feature an outer cast iron friction surface ring that is separate from the aluminum center hat. This allows better airflow through the vanes and for the friction ring can expand as it gets hot. The rotors are also cross-drilled for better ventilation and slotted to improve brake pad performance.

ECS 2-Piece Rotors feature:

Aluminum hats for light weight
Heat-treated cast iron friction rings
2-piece assembly improves brake cooling
Anti-corrosion coating on non-friction surfaces and hard anodizing on rotor hat

These are the same size as the stock rotors so your stock caliper and mounting bracket will fit and there will be no clearance issues with your wheels or to other components. Stainless steel rotor retaining screws are included. You can use these with any brake pad.

These 2-piece floating rotors help dissipate heat better than a standard cast iron rotor and are also lighter for less unsprung weight. Managing heat in the brake system is vital to braking performance, especially on the track or when driven hard. It's why your brake rotors have internal vanes that vent heat as the rotor spins. These 2-piece ECS rotors feature an outer cast iron friction surface ring that is separate from the aluminum center hat. This allows better airflow through the vanes and for the friction ring can expand as it gets hot. The rotors are also cross-drilled for better ventilation and slotted to improve brake pad performance.

ECS 2-Piece Rotors feature:

Aluminum hats for light weight
Heat-treated cast iron friction rings
2-piece assembly improves brake cooling
Anti-corrosion coating on non-friction surfaces and hard anodizing on rotor hat

These are the same size as the stock rotors so your stock caliper and mounting bracket will fit and there will be no clearance issues with your wheels or to other components. Stainless steel rotor retaining screws are included. You can use these with any brake pad.

EBC Yellowstuff brake pads are designed for high friction and strong stopping power, with good heat resistance for heavy braking. In 2021, the formulation was updated to remove copper for environmental compliance, resulting in a longer lifespan but also a longer bedding-in period. As a result, Yellowstuff is no longer recommended for track use and is best suited for high-performance street driving and heavy-duty applications such as towing with trucks and SUVs. Brake pad wear sensors are a convenient part of the braking system, notifying the driver of when the material on the brake pads are getting low and need to be serviced. Unfortunately it is common in custom or upgraded braking systems that the pad wear sensor is non-existent or does not mate properly with the connector on your vehicle, leaving you with a brake pad wear warning every time you start your vehicle.

ECS Tuning has developed this direct-fit Brake Pad Wear Sensor Bypass to alleviate this issue. This sensor bypass will trick the vehicle's electronics into thinking that the brake pads have adequate pad material to keep the dashboard warning from appearing. No more unnecessary warnings when installing a big brake kit or your own custom setup. This bypass is a plug-and-play component that requires no modifications so you can revert back to your OEM setup if necessary.

Some vehicles may be equipped with two front brake pad wear sensors, or a front and rear sensor, please be sure to double check the required quantity for your vehicle before placing an order.
