Ditch the failure-prone plastic housing with this upgraded aluminum oil filter housing, built for strength, reliability, and peace of mind.

The factory plastic housing is a well-known weak point and a common source of oil leaks on BMW B58 engines. Once leaks develop, replacement is the only solution. Left unchecked, even minor oil loss can lead to premature engine wear, or in the worst cases, catastrophic failure.

This upgraded housing not only solves the problem with a durable aluminum construction, but also comes complete with caps and seals for a straightforward, hassle-free installation.

Protect your engine from unnecessary risk, upgrade your filter housing, and ensure a leak-free, long-lasting seal.

Featuring a T60 Torx head, the belt tensioner found on the N54/N55 engine has exceptionally tight quarters. Use of this tool will allow access to the lock pin hole without excessive component removal, making belt removal and installation a much easier task.

Rubber seals are often hardened and damaged by excessive heat and constant temperature changes causing them to become brittle and crack or split. If your seal has split, replace it with a new Elring seal for long reliability and to prevent further problems.

Elring is one of the biggest OEM names in the manufacturing of high quality gaskets that are available for very affordable prices. Elring has supplied many automotive names for years with the gaskets that seal your car's components from day 1 so you can rest assured that these components will last for a long time to come!
