This front section is a direct replacement for the stock 235i/335/435/M2 exhaust with one key difference - the Supersprint uses full 80mm piping for improved flow out of the turbo. One of the best and easiest ways of getting more power from a stock turbo is by helping it push exhaust gas and larger and smoother exhaust piping will help with that. Where the stock system is bent and crimped, the Supersprint is a full 80mm along its entire length. This section 1 will fit to the stock or Supersprint turbo downpipe and a stock or Supersprint section 2 exhaust.

Supersprint "F1 Race" mufflers are the best route for letting the S62 rip! These small and lightweight mufflers are among the loudest and most aggressive exhausts on the market with a finely-tuned exhaust note that accentuates the M5's V8 nicely, especially on downshifts. Supersprint tubular long-tube headers for the 96-99 328i and M3 that works with the factory secondary air pump. These use the same tubular header design of the OBD-I Supersprint header but with the necessary ports for the secondary air injection so you won't need an air pump delete kit or special software. These are still long-tube headers that make great power at high RPM. They fit with the Supersprint center resonator or by cutting your factory cat section so these can slide on.

This Supersprint cat-back race exhaust for the E70 X5 6-cylinder models will give a bit more pop and sexiness to the exhaust note. The sound is more noticeable on the gasoline N55 35iX model than on the Diesel. On the 35iX there is a ripping and growling exhaust note that will instantly get recognition without being obnoxious. It's a refined exotic European sound. On the Diesel 35dX model there is more turbo whistle and a bit more growl but is still relatively subdued (thanks to the large dampening effects of the DPF and SCR catalytic system). This Supersprint center section will delete the secondary silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock secondary cats via a set of connecting pipes. By eliminating the resonator, and matched to the rear muffler, more engine sound can be heard. And with less restriction more torque and horsepower can be released.

This oversized front (section 1) pipe is a direct replacement for the stock exhaust section. It's been optimized for flow with 80mm tubing and mandrel bends. It does have compressed sections like on the stock piece. Although this is very similar to the factory exhaust pipe the larger size from the Supersprint provides better flow and less restriction (key for making power in turbocharged engines).
