Supersprint's rear mufflers for the 335i and 335xi produce a pleasing but not intrusive exhaust sound. This set of mufflers are considered their 'street' system with only a modest increase in volume to give a hint of added performance without being obnoxious or annoying. This is a great set of mufflers for altering the exhaust note without drawing attention to yourself. The Supersprint Race mufflers are a freer-flowing version of the standard Sport mufflers for the F10 M5. Where the Sport mufflers make an aggressive but muted growl, the Race mufflers let you know they're there. The Race system is an excellent alternative to running a muffler-delete modification as the throaty burble of the V8 comes through but without the added volume of running without mufflers. These are still straight-through, minimalist muffler designs so some additional noise and drone is to be expected.

If stock exhaust volume does not live up to your expectations and you want a lot more turbo-6 sound to get to the cabin, this Supersprint 'Racing' muffler may just what you want. By using a smaller muffler body and more straight-through exhaust flow, more sound can be extracted from the very quiet turbocharged engine. Most of Supersprint's mufflers are designed to meet European noise levels which leaves some room to make them louder for the North American market but without being obnoxiously loud. This muffler converts the X3 to the 'dual exhaust' look with two tips on each side (bumper modification required). This gives a more muscular appearance and makes the X3 more like its bigger X5/X6 siblings. Note: tips are sold separately, choose from 80mm or 90mm tip styles below.

These Supersprint mufflers enhance the athletic side of the M5's personality without going too far. With a freer-flowing design there is more of that exhaust pop and rumble coming to the cabin, reminding you that this is a BMW Motorsport vehicle and not a luxury cruiser. These mufflers are more subdued than the race version with a great sound and no dramatic side effects. You hear the exhaust when you want to but it's composed and smooth when you don't want to advertise. A moderate increase in torque and horsepower from less restriction is a nice bonus.
