BMW Sway Bar End Links

Sway bar end links connect the swaybar to the rest of the suspension, preventing body roll and keeping everything in line in tight turns. This is the stock rear swaybar link for the E46 3-series, except the M3 model. The link connects the sway bar to the suspension of the car and is under constant stress and motion. The rubber ends of the link will eventually wear out. When that happens the sway bar itself will move within the link and create a clunk noise. Swaybar links are one of the first places to check if you hear a clunk in your E46.
