Engineered to perfection, your new exhaust system sheds a remarkable 42 pounds, providing a substantial 60% reduction in weight compared to the factory setup. Freeing up the weight is great, but the real magic lies in its upgraded mufflers, featuring a straight-through design that minimizes backpressure while delivering a captivating, aggressive exhaust note with minimal rasp. Lighter and freer-flowing, this exhaust system is the ultimate embodiment of performance. Not to overlook even the smallest detail, our engineers were able to keep the OEM angle of the exhaust tips in the rear valance (angled 5 degrees upward).
Why did we choose to make an exhaust upgrade for Z3M? When shopping for performance BMWs tailored for autocross or other motorsports endeavors, buyers often gravitate toward the revered M3 lineup. Initially, attention is drawn to the E36 and E46 M3 models, which feature epic motors such as the S52 and S54. However, among the motorsport vehicles, the Z3M tends to be overshadowed in BMW's performance lineup. True enthusiasts like yourself know that the Z3M not only shares the 50/50 weight distribution and rigid chassis like the other M cars, but it also comes loaded with the epic motors sought after in the E36 and E46 M3. If you are fortunate enough to own a Z3M, you're already in possession of one of the legendary S52 or S54 motors! Cherish your Z3M and enlighten the community about just how awesome these vehicles are with a great-looking and sounding exhaust!
Curious about upgrading your Z3's exhaust but not entirely convinced? Let's look into the installation process of your new lightweight performance exhaust. It's a breeze. Simply lift/your car up, support your mufflers, and unbolt the factory axle-back. Once the bulky factory exhaust is out of the picture, your new Turner exhaust seamlessly bolts onto the factory mid pipes and hangers. If your engine is triggering an oxygen sensor check engine light, it's time to consider a replacement with this high-performance unit. Supersprint's sport rear muffler allows more of that engine note to be heard. The stock muffler may be too quiet for some and it's a shame to over-muffle the sound of BMW's engine. The Supersprint muffler is a direct replacement for the stock with all of the original gaskets and hangers. It's a free-flow muffler which helps to release horsepower and torque while also raising the volume and making the exhaust note throatier and with more of a burble than stock.
