Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.
Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Maximum Flow Pro5R Filter
This intake kit replaces your restrictive factory air box. It features a 3-angle aluminum velocity stack adapter, 1.6mm powder-coated steel heat shield, trim sealed to seal out hot engine air, and a custom aFe brand cotton filter.
This version uses aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a light oil gauze to filter out dirt and particulates while allowing more air to flow to the intake. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend this standard aFe filter media (often called "Pro5R ", which has a blue pre-oiled filter media). We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.
By removing your stock intake air box, you are removing the most restrictive portion of your intake system, increasing both horsepower and torque, improving acceleration as well as throttle response.
aFe has reported gains as high as 25 hp and 35 lb/ft torque for these kits, depending on the application.

This radiator expansion tank (coolant reservoir) is used on E39 540i from 1997-2003 and E38 740i 740il 750il from 1995-2001. It is a common failure item. We have found that the expansion tanks should be replaced based on age as well as condition. Expansion tanks seem to have a lifespan of less than six years before they show signs of fatigue and wear. Pre-emptively replacing the expansion tank as part of an overall maintenance plan can prevent you from getting stranded from a sudden failure later on. This OEM Hella tank will give you a long life-span and will put your worries to rest of possible failure and coolant loss.
