These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

The rear damping adjuster on coilovers is usually hidden under a bunch of hard to reach interior panels requiring you to remove carpet, panels and sometimes even the rear seat back in order to adjust the dampening on your BC rear coilovers. The BC Racing rear extender adjuster allow you to make these adjustments without removing the rear interior. Simple make two small holes in the interior above the adjuster and the extension can be passed through the interior panels. Now the adjustments can be performed from above.

This is the main rear upper control arm (or wishbone) for the E39 5-series. It helps to locate the wheel hub and keep the alignment in check. It has an inner rubber bushing and outer ball joint. When these wear out the rear suspension becomes less stable and 'planted' than before. You may also notice a clunking noise when going over bumps. Since this is just one piece in the rear suspension you may also want to check the other rear control arms.

It’s no secret that BMW’s suffer from weak, failure prone front thrust arm bushings.  The stock rubber bushings are designed to allow significant fore/aft movement of the front wheels and are fluid filled to help absorb road impacts.  This compliant design maximizes daily driving comfort and helps add to the “luxury” feeling of your BMW, but it also contributes to the numb, disconnected feeling that many enthusiasts complain about with modern BMW’s.  Not only is the OEM design far from ideal for the street or racing enthusiast that is looking for optimal handling and braking performance, the constant twisting and deflection required of the rubber bushing often causes premature failure, resulting in degraded handling, wheel shimmy, delayed steering response, delayed braking response, unwanted alignment change, and poor tire wear.

Introducing the new Turner Thrust Arm Ball Joints!  The Turner engineering team set out to design a solution that offers far superior durability when compared to OEM, requiring no modification and offering nearly instantaneous cornering and braking response for the absolute best road feel and driving experience possible.  Our thrust arm monoballs utilize a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability.  The bearing assembly is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit and longest lasting component life possible. 

By utilizing a sealed ball joint, Turner achieved the ultimate in terms of low friction no bind suspension travel with no unwanted deflection, providing exceptional steering precision, turn-in response, and direct braking feedback; all while maintaining exceptional comfort and durability levels making these an excellent no compromise upgrade even for a street car.  These thrust arm monoball / ball joints are a must have for any track car, but are also completely street-able and are a great upgrade for any enthusiast that enjoys spirited driving.

Upper shock mounts and bearings are good to replace while replacing front shocks. It is easier and often less expensive to replace them preventatively than to have them fail shortly afterward and have to take apart the whole suspension a second time. This front shock tower bearing fits BMW E39 540i M5 and Z8.

It's also a good idea to replace the upper spring plate and bearing at the same time. Often, these bearings are worn out and should not be put back in the car. See below for the link to add these to order too.

Fine-tuning your coilover damping shouldn’t mean stripping out your rear seats or interior panels. On many applications, rear shock adjusters are hidden behind carpet, trim, or seatbacks, making quick adjustments a hassle.

The ECS Rear Damping Extension Kit solves that problem with a clean and functional solution. These flexible extensions relocate the adjustment knobs to an easily accessible point above the rear shock towers, letting you dial in your suspension from inside the cabin, no disassembly required.

Installation is straightforward: simply drill a small access hole in your interior trim and route the extension cables through. The adjustment knobs can be removed to allow the line to pass through smaller openings, minimizing cutting. For proper installation, be sure to fully loosen the set screw, insert the cable, then securely tighten it using the provided Allen key.

BMW’s are known to have failure prone front thrust arm bushings.  The flexible rubber bushings, even those found in M performance models, allow significant movement of the front wheels to maximize daily driving comfort, but also allow considerable alignment change.  This results in a disconnected and numb road feel, standing between you and a confidence inspiring driving experience. Eventually the fluid filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, and eventually the damping fluid leaks out resulting in complete failure.

For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available!  Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints goes back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 race cars (GS class Champions in 2011). We wanted to offer as many BMW owners possible a similar level of handling, precision, and control for the track and street.

Utilizing a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise.  We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting. The stock aluminum sway bar brackets in the E39 5-Series suffer from a serious design flaw that has resulted in many people experiencing snapping and misshapen brackets, a mounting tab that is simply too weak. Not only was the OE bracket not designed to handle the loads required, but the aluminum construction was also easily fatigued over time, making an already questionable bracket weaker over time. This sub-par construction eventually leads to the mounting tab breaking off, releasing all tension on the sway bar, causing sloppy handling feel and knocking noises in the rear of your BMW. Luckily for all of us, the fix is simple. By swapping the construction from aluminum to steel, while maintaining all of the original dimensions, these brackets offer 3 times the mounting strength versus the OE brackets! This ensures that no matter how many track days or spirited weekends of driving your BMW sees, you can rest easy knowing your rear sway bar is securely mounted. To top it all off, these brackets are also zinc-coated, keeping away rust and corrosion for years. Why go steel E39 brackets instead of using E38 brackets? Fitment. Although the E38 bracket is a commonly suggested upgrade, it does require a bit of modification to fit properly and usually results in a bit of bushing compression, making your sway bar difficult to install.

This is the rear bump stop used in the E39 M5 and 2003 E39 540i M-Sport. There are a lot of bump stops for the E39 models and this one is one of the stiffest. Therefore it's a good fit for cars that have been lowered. However, cutting may be required on modified E39s to get the shock travel correct.

With the wide range of suspensions and sway bars available today adjustable sway bar links can help you with many problems. Along with the ability to remove preload you can change the length to maximize sway bar geometry. Example: if the sway bar hoop comes too close to the steering rack, oil cooler, or under tray in its suspension travel you can adjust it by simply lengthening or shorting the adjustment rod. In some cases you may need a longer or shorter adjustment rod to achieve optimal geometry. We also offer these same links in other custom lengths (click here) that may not be specific to BMW chassis.

The front sway bar links are known to fail on the E39 5 Series V8 models (540i and M5). Early sway bar link failures produce clunking noises and vibration, while more serious failure will leave the front sway bar disconnected and cause serious handling issues. Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.
