The E46 cupholders are infamous for barely being able to reliably hold any beverages and they usually end up spilling all over the interior. Race German has designed a solution that allows your drinks to sit behind the armrest which eliminates any interference with shifting. These dual cup holders are completely plug and play. To install, simply remove the stock rear ashtray, and install the cupholder. The E46 dual cupholder even uses the same two screws for installation.
