Valley pan gaskets are a common failure on the M62 motors, Symptoms can include a smell of coolant regularly or a mysterious loss of coolant with no identifiable leaks. This kit contains the basics need to be replaced when doing a valley pan gasket. The included Geba water pump has a metal impeller to replace the failure prone plastic OEM impeller. It is always a good idea to replace the accessory belts when ever they need to be removed to ensure proper tension and belt integrity. The water pipe in N62-equipped BMWs is prone to failure and can be a very costly and time-consuming job to undertake. This failure can happen at any time or mileage and some times without warning. This kit from Turner Motorsport includes a URO collapsible water pipe that makes this job much easier and faster since you do not have to tear down the front of the engine, as well as a new valley pan with an upgraded seal to prevent leaks.
