Valley pan gaskets are a common failure on the M62 motors, Symptoms can include a smell of coolant regularly or a mysterious loss of coolant with no identifiable leaks. This kit contains the basics need to be replaced when doing a valley pan gasket. The included Geba water pump has a metal impeller to replace the failure prone plastic OEM impeller. It is always a good idea to replace the accessory belts when ever they need to be removed to ensure proper tension and belt integrity. Kit includes Valley pan with rubber gasket: updated valley pan alleviates the core of the issue - the design!
