It's always best to see the road - or lackthereof - ahead. With this in mind, improved illumination is a must-have for safe driving when off-roading, overlanding, or just exploring the road less traveled.

Common points for mounting aux lighting include the front bumper for long-throw lighting, the roof for high clearance/high perspective lighting, and the base of the A-pillar for ditch lighting. These brackets provide a clean, fully reverseable install point for this third lighting need - ditch lights. Fear no ditch, no dark, obstructed, or unknown path through the modern miracle of well positioned auxiliary lighting.

Utilizing factory hood mounting locations (read: strong, movement free mounting) and hardware, these satin black powder coated 5052 aluminum brackets wrap around the top of the hood adjacent to the A-pillar, and offer an ideal base for mounting auxillary lights of your choosing (sold separately). Lights are positioned low and snug against the vehicle, with ample room for light installation, while keeping lights low in your line of sight.

The switch panel fits in your dash perfectly and features 5 switch ports with an added securing point to manage your wires nice and tidy. To make this switch panel so versatile it was designed to accept a standard rocker/toggle switch with a 1.46" x 0.83" mounting hole. Not only does ECS offer switches specific to your X5 lighting additions but they also have blank switches to control universal electronics and blank switch plates for opportunity to add later! If you're not sure if your Vanos seals are bad then the only question you need to answer is if you've replaced them. Every unit from the factory came with the same failure prone o-rings and seals, even the re-manufactured units you can still get today. The only real fix is by replacing the seals and o-rings with material that is built to last in the oiled, extreme temperature environment found in these kits. 

A premium product replacement with easy to follow instructions makes rebuilding your Vanos unit a must. Even thought the power loss is barely felt it's the opposite result once you replace the seals, every car that gets rebuilt ends up wowing the customer and all of them saying they didn't realize what they lost.
