Designed with performance and load capacity in mind, King's SV Series bearings feature a Lead-free, tri-metal Silver-based overlay with a Babbitt plating made to provide seizure resistance. Ideal for extreme-load engines, it serves as an OE replacement and can be employed as a sputter replacement. Despite offering great wear and friction resistance, the engineers at Turner Motorsport saw an opportunity to further improve King's bearing design with WPC surface treatment. WPC reduces friction and adds strength, vastly enhancing the durability of critical internal engine components. Ignition coils are key to the efficiency and performance of your BMW. With a faulty coil the spark plug is not burning the air/fuel mixture properly and that can lead to problems anywhere in the engine and exhaust (including catalytic converters and O2 sensors). Problems with one or more coils will cause a fault code but not always a check engine light. A misfire code may be related to an ignition coil but could be from other things as well. Sometimes a visual inspection of a coil and coil boot will give an indication of a failure. You can also move coils around to different cylinder banks to see if the misfire code follows a suspect coil. We suggest always having one or two coils on hand to keep as spares.
This is the current replacement for some BMW 6 and 8-cylinder engines built in the late 2000s and after. BMW has made numerous changes to ignition coil part numbers in recent years but has approved this part number to work in the vehicles listed below. It's listed as a replacement coil for N20, N55, and S55 engines. In March 2015 BMW approved it for N51/N52 engines. This part number replaces the previous BMW part number 12137594937 for the cars listed below.

A common cause of check engine light and limp mode after running the car hard. Restarting the car commonly clears the code and/or limp mode. Two different problem codes, 2A87 "Outlet-Vanos variable cam control test" and "2A82 Inlet-Vanos variable cam control test", are thrown indicating the possibility of various VANOS-related problems. This low-pressure fuel sensor is commonly a cause of an "Increased Emissions" warning on the idrive and for check engine (SES) lights on BMW's with the N54 6 cylinder turbo engine or the S65 V8 engine in the M3. It will also fit a limited number of cars with the N55 engine. This sensor can be traced to a number of drivability issues, including cold start running problems, misfires, stumbling, hesitations, and overall rough running.
