All APEX wheels are the BMW standard 5/120 bolt pattern and with a 72.6mm center bore. They are a direct fit to most any 1-series (E82), 3-series (E36, E46, E90, E92, F30), Z3, and Z4-series BMWs. The original BMW center cap, TPMS sensors, and original lug bolts are all carried over from your original wheels (wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used). They come in a wide variety of diameter, width, and offset combinations which gives you multiple fitment and application opportunities. For street use we generally recommend a staggered setup with a rear wheel slightly wider than the front. For track and racing applications a square setup is desired with the same width in the front and rear. Wheel offsets may also vary based on the clearances and stance you wish to achieve. This set of 8.5" and 9.5" ARC-8 wheels is an easy staggered fitment for the E46 M3 and Z4M models. These are a direct fit with no spacers or fender rolling required. We use an 8.5" ET35 on the front and a 9.5" ET22 on the rear. These are only slightly wider than the stock sizes. The rear wheels have a deeper curve to the spokes than the front wheels, emphasizing the RWD chassis and adding some muscularity to the stance.

APEX light alloy wheels are the next evolution in flow-forged wheel technology for BMWs. Flow-forming is a semi-forging process that produces a wheel typically stronger than a traditional cast wheel yet is still light weight. The wheels are around 10lbs lighter per wheel than a comparable factory wheel! That's reduced unsprung weight that improves all aspects of performance. The spokes and barrel have been designed to allow generous clearance for big brakes. In other words, these wheels are very impressively engineered and look great too! The design is based on classic motorsport themes that blend with BMW styling and appearance. These wheels look right at home on many BMW models. Multiple color and profile options allow you to set just the right look and stance for your car. As well as being pleasing to the eye these are very strong and functional wheels that are at home on the street as well as the racetrack. Don't let the price fool you - these wheels are high quality, high strength, and in high demand.

All APEX wheels are the BMW standard 5/120 bolt pattern and with a 72.6mm center bore. They are a direct fit to most any 1-series (E82), 3-series (E36, E46, E90, E92, F30), Z3, and Z4-series BMWs. The original BMW center cap, TPMS sensors, and original lug bolts are all carried over from your original wheels (wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used). They come in a wide variety of diameter, width, and offset combinations which gives you multiple fitment and application opportunities. For street use we generally recommend a staggered setup with a rear wheel slightly wider than the front. For track and racing applications a square setup is desired with the same width in the front and rear. Wheel offsets may also vary based on the clearances and stance you wish to achieve. Wheel studs are among the safest and most beneficial upgrades you can make on a track car. Not only are wheel studs safer than wheel bolts but they make changing wheels/tires much easier. One of the frustrating things about installing your wheels on the hub is that it's difficult to line up the wheel on the bolt holes. As wheels get larger but also heavier it's even more trouble. Add in a wheel spacer and the task is twice as hard. BMW does produce a wheel alignment pin for this purpose but if you're changing wheels often a stud conversion is the better way to go. Our original bullet nose studs are available in 78mm and 90mm overall lengths. The 78mm works great for cars that do not use a spacer (or a spacer smaller than 15mm). We recommend the 90mm length for cars that have a spacer larger than 15mm. These studs come with a black magnesium phosphate coating for excellent corrosion resistance. These studs are perfect for dual-purpose street/track cars. The studs are stronger and safer than wheel bolts and have a barrier against corrosion which makes them suitable for street use. For a dedicated race or track car, where wheel changes or pit stops are more frequent, check out our racing dry lube studs. Our studs are also designed and manufactured with the properly sized shank to work with a wider range of BMW wheel, nut, and brake rotor combinations. We intentionally avoid the extra large shoulders you see on other studs because they can interfere with some brake rotor hats. The extra-large shoulder can be too large to allow the rotor to pass through and drilling out the holes is required (not cool!) Our studs have the sufficient shank for the brake rotor without interfering.

Drastically improve the looks of your vehicle while improving your vehicle's handling characteristics and/or easily adjust your wheel fitment to allow for the proper clearance when installing parts such as new wheels, big brake kits, or lowering suspension components.Interference from components such as shocks, springs, or control arms are a common issue when installing wheel that are not a direct OE size replacement. By moving your wheels a few millimeters each, you can give yourself enough clearance for proper wheel fitment and give your car a wider stance in the process.

ECS Tuning wheel spacers are constructed of high quality 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and are specifically designed by in-house engineers and cnc machined to exact standards, ensuring the best fitment possible. By carefully measuring the OEM wheel hubs and bore dimensions, these spacers mount with minimal clearance to prevent any vibration, retaining the stock-like vibration free operation.

This kit includes wheel bolts that are lab tested to meet or exceed ISO 898 class 10.9 mechanical and physical properties to ensure perfect fastening of the wheel to the hub with no issues or potential to snap under aggressive driving conditions.

Every part's design is subjected to a rigorous test fit and stress test period to guarantee proper fitment and continued reliability for years to come.

In some cases, the OEM hub flange extends farther than the thickness of the spacer. This creates a need for a larger chamfer on the spacer for adequate wall thickness. ECS's 10mm spacer is designed to be compatible with OEM wheels; however, in some instances, it is incompatible with certain aftermarket wheel options. A simple fix is to switch to either an 8mm or 12.5mm spacer.

H&R's 5mm wheel spacers are Made in Germany and are TUV approved. H&R manufacturers their spacers from a super lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy for excellent strength and also to save unsprung weight. The spacers are drilled for additional lightness and easy fitment. They are then hard anodized for durability. These are not low quality universal spacers - the bolt pattern, hub sizing, and other dimensions are designed to be used on BMW models only.

This spacer slips on the existing hub lip and leaves some lip left over for the wheel to rest on. This keeps the wheel hubcentric*.
* - To avoid vibration, 5mm spacers work best with wheels that have a flush mounting surface. Wheels that have a bevel around the mounting surface will not be fully seated on the hub and a vibration may result. We designed a hub extender that fits the front of many BMWs that adds 10mm of lip depth and gives the wheel a full hubcentric lip to rest on. See Hub Extender link below for more info.

Longer wheel bolts are strongly recommended. Choose from black or silver bolts from the options below. Wheel locks to work with this spacer size are also available.
