BMW Engine Parts for BMW 3 Series E93 (2007-2013)

Upgrade your stock oil cooler thermostat for improved performance. Swap your factory 110-degree Celsius thermostat for a new 70-degree Celsius version for faster oil flow and extended temperature control. With oil temperatures reaching 230 degrees Fahrenheit by the time your factory thermostat opens, initiating oil flow at lower temperatures proves more effective than attempting to cool down already elevated temperatures.

Utilizing a factory-style thermostat, this upgrade can be used in all weather conditions and allows your engine to warm up properly, unlike thermostat bypass kits.

If you're experiencing hard starting, flaky charging, or other electrical issues, your engine ground strap may be the culprit. On E9X BMWs, the engine ground strap is a thin, non-insulated cable that spans from the left engine mount arm to the frame horn. Despite the seemingly simple nature of this part, on older cars, it is known to cause massive headaches. Due to its non-insulated design, years of exposure to water, dirt, and road salt will cause the wire to corrode, ultimately leading to complete failure. A break in this cable will cause an open circuit, resulting in issues with the vehicle's electrical system and potentially leading to a no-start condition.

To solve this issue, ECS has engineered an exact-fit, upgraded ground strap for your E9X BMW! Unlike its OEM counterpart, this design features insulated, large-gauge copper wire for dependable conductivity and long-lasting durability. Additionally, factory-style lugs are zinc-coated, crimped, and soldered, ensuring protection against corrosion and oxidation.

Whether you're replacing a visibly corroded strap or proactively preventing failure, this solution from ECS is sure to provide lasting performance and protection.

FEATURES

Direct-fit replacement and upgrade for RWD E82/E88, E84, and E9X applications Solves intermittent grounding issues caused by aging OEM straps Clean, stealthy design that fits seamlessly in factory engine bays Factory length and lug orientation for drop-in fitment 2 AWG tinned copper cable for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance Zinc-coated lugs, crimped and soldered to resist moisture and oxidation Black UL1015-grade insulation withstands oil, heat, and abrasion Discreet ECS label for a clean, OEM+ look Replaces OEM part numbers 12427549393, 12427795404, and 12427790559.

Elevate your custom installation with the ECS -10AN O-Ring Boss fitting, a crucial component that connects your ECS Tuning Catch Can to a 3/4" ID hose. This fitting simplifies your plumbing setup, ensuring a seamless solution.

Featuring a pre-installed Viton O-ring, this fitting is engineered for excellence, providing a leak-proof seal that resists the effects of oil and fuel exposure, guaranteeing long-term durability.

The 3/4" nipple is thoughtfully designed with barbs to secure hose position effectively, minimizing the risk of hose disconnection. Keep in mind that clamps and hoses are available for separate purchase. These fittings are sold individually, with most installations requiring a pair of them.

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover set, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

This valve cover set includes gaskets, bolts, and oil separators for a comprehensive replacement.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Gloss red finish provides a much-needed boost in engine bay aesthetic.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

Ensure your BMW's cooling system stays in top shape with ECS Tuning's Billet Aluminum Radiator Drain Plug. Designed specifically for late-model 1-Series and 3-Series BMWs, this replacement plug addresses the common issue of weak plastic drain plugs. Constant exposure to engine heat and road debris makes the plastic plugs brittle, leading to frustration with broken plugs. ECS Tuning's billet aluminum alternative puts an end to these problems.

• Durable Replacement: Say goodbye to weak plastic drain plugs.
• Enhanced Material: Billet aluminum provides superior strength and longevity.
• Deeper Screw Head: Accommodates Phillips head or flat head screwdrivers for better engagement.
• Reduced Stripping Risk: Minimize the chance of stripping out the screw head.

Don't let cooling system maintenance be a hassle. Order ECS Tuning's Billet Aluminum Radiator Drain Plug now and experience worry-free service.

This is an OEM INA Idler Pulley, also known as the roller pulley or deflection pulley. The idler pulley is known to be the primary sources for 'belt squealing'. The pulley is also encased in rubber which will crack over time. If left without service the rubber could fail completely, chucking the belt and leaving you stranded. Replacement is a very simple procedure and can be done anytime the fan is off the engine (belt replacement, water pump service, alternator replacement, etc).
