The sway bar in your vehicle links both lower control arms together. During cornering, the inner wheel tends to roll under, but the sway bar acts as a spring to prevent this from happening. A critical component in this system is the sway bar bushings. If the bushings are worn or too soft, energy transfer between sides is compromised due to excessive sway bar flex or bushing movement. To maintain tight and responsive handling, it’s best to replace worn bushings.
