FITMENT NOTE: For G-Chassis models (G20, G22), the cutoff build date of 08/2020 is important as cars produced after that date have a downpipe with different bracket locations. Cars with a build date of 08/2020 and earlier have the brackets in a V configuration. Cars with a build date of 09/2020 and later have the brackets in a straight line and require Active Autowerke p/n 11-065G

This oversized front (section 1) pipe is a direct replacement for the stock exhaust section. It's been optimized for flow with 80mm tubing and mandrel bends. It does have compressed sections like on the stock piece. Although this is very similar to the factory exhaust pipe the larger size from the Supersprint provides better flow and less restriction (key for making power in turbocharged engines).

This front section is a direct replacement for the stock 235i/335/435/M2 exhaust with one key difference - the Supersprint uses full 80mm piping for improved flow out of the turbo. One of the best and easiest ways of getting more power from a stock turbo is by helping it push exhaust gas and larger and smoother exhaust piping will help with that. Where the stock system is bent and crimped, the Supersprint is a full 80mm along its entire length. Wagner downpipes for F30 feature larger piping and catalytic converter that are freer-flowing than the original cats for better flow and less backpressure. By removing exhaust restrictions the turbos can spool up faster which makes more boost sooner. With additional tuning, more power is available. There are downpipes that delete the primary cats and can leave the exhaust with a dirty and awful smell. These Wagner downpipes are built with a sport cat to keep the exhaust cleaner.Special software, or stand-alone engine management, will be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from appearing.
