Direct replacement REAR brake rotor for F3X 320iX/328iX and F32 428i/428iX with the N26 SULEV engine.

Zimmermann rotors are finished with an anti-corrosion zinc dichromate coating over the entire rotor. This coating is applied over the rotor hat, face, and through the vanes for total corrosion protection. Even after a year of use the Zimmerman coating doesn't change color or effectiveness. The rotors are ready to use after correct bed-in procedures have been done. In addition, Zimmerman uses a high carbon content in their discs for improved thermal performance.

These create much less dust than stock pads and the compound adds severe-duty stopping power without sacrificing everyday drivability. In addition, the rotors have been upgraded from stock to ensure that they not only hold up to the rigors of performance braking, but also last as long as possible. To do this they started with precision drilling to give the rotors additional cooling. Next was the addition of rounded slots in the friction surface. This allows gas and debris to be easily wiped away, keeping the contact patch on the rotor clear for smooth, safe braking. Finally, the coated the rotor with a Silver Zinc Dichromate plating to add both looks and rust and corrosion prevention to the rotors as well. This prevents the typical rust lip from forming and keeps the rotor from forming any potential weak points after extended use.

Cool Carbon S/T brake pads have excellent stopping power and feel with low levels of dust and noise. Engineered for European cars with high speed development on the Autobahn, Cool Carbon is a sporty compound intended for every day use. The S/T compound has more stopping power and initial bite than stock thanks to a higher coefficient of friction and composite materials.
