AFE Pro DryS Dynamic Air Intake System – Stage 2 uses three layer, washable synthetic media filtration for improved engine protection. Dry filters are MAF safe.
Kit includes two cone filters; 16 gauge powder coated heat shield; one-piece intake tube, dynamic air scoops that create ram air effect behind kidney grilles, plus a filter restore kit at no additional charge.
Dyno proven power increases of 28 horsepower and 31 lb-ft torque.
Air filter service at recommended intervals lets an engine breathe properly while protecting it from costly damage. Air filters should be inspected and replaced as needed at least once a year, more often if the vehicle is driven in heavily polluted or dusty conditions.

The Momentum intake is designed around a pre-oiled, large 7-1/2" Tall oval top 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. The unique air filter-to-housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process.

Premium clamps are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.

Maximum Flow Pro5R Filter
This intake kit replaces your restrictive factory air box. It features a 3-angle aluminum velocity stack adapter, 1.6mm powder-coated steel heat shield, trim sealed to seal out hot engine air, and a custom aFe brand cotton filter.
This version uses aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a lightly oiled gauze to filter out dirt and particulates while allowing more air to flow to the intake. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend this standard aFe filter media (often called "Pro5R ", which has a blue pre-oiled filter media). We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.
By removing your stock intake air box, you are removing the most restrictive portion of your intake system, increasing both horse power and torque, improving acceleration as well as throttle response.

aFe has engineered the Momentum GT intake to outperform the stock air box and deliver substantial power and torque gains over the factory system. The B58 3.0L Turbo benefits from aFe's oversized cotton filter element in a Rotomold plastic housing that blocks heat saturated air while flowing more volume of cooler dense air. The system has been CAD designed to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo. The intake tube is a smooth, unobstructed single piece from the air inlet to the airbox and incorporates a port for the air flow sensor. aFe's advanced engineering and design have made this a direct bolt-in intake upgrade.
The aFe filter has been designed specifically for this application and uses aFe's high flow/low maintenance design. The ProDry S filter has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. Silver Bullet throttle body spacers create turbulence in the air flow just prior to entry into the engine increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response and fuel efficiency. Silver Bullet throttle body spacers are constructed out of durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum and use a unique serrated/helix entry to create turbulence at the manifold while eliminating the annoying whistle found in other helix-only throttle spacers.
Serrated/Helix Design: The Serrated/Helix combination design creates intake turbulence in the combustion chamber. This turbulence breaks up the fuel which creates a more complete combustion cycle increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response. The Serrated/Helix combination design also reduces intake whistle that occurs with helix-only designs.
