Four 3.5" stainless tips engraved with the Dinan logo fill out the rear valence (choose either polished or satin black tips). Annoying highway drone has also been engineered out of the system. Dinan uses only 304 stainless steel in their systems for the maximum corrosion protection. This system replaces the factory rear mufflers at a pre-determined cut point on the stock exhaust, which makes for an easy installation and you can reinstall your original mufflers using factory hardware. This Supersprint center resonator is tuned to work with their muffler system to provide an aggressive but not wildly loud exhaust note. Supersprint makes two center section options - with or without a resonator. When planning your exhaust layout this will likely be the final section to choose. If you're deleting the secondary cats for more power you may want to opt for the tuned resonator to keep the exhaust note quieter. If you won't be deleting your secondary cats, opening up the resonator with straight pipes will allow more sound to come through. Or run with no cats and no resonator for the biggest - and loudest - power gains.

The Z4 35i and 35is have a very subdued and tame exhaust, especially by sports car standards! If you want to hear more of your exhaust note or feel that your Z4 could use more growl and excitement this set of Supersprint front exhaust pipes might do the trick! These pipes eliminate the second set of catalytic converters, which opens up the exhaust and removes a big restriction. The N54 turbos and the main set of cats in the downpipes already muffle the sound. The second set of cats also work as mufflers, dampening the sound even further. These stainless steel pipes bolt to the stock downpipes. Use them with the stock rear muffler section (requires adapters) or with the Supersprint sport mufflers. This is perfect if all you want is a little more volume from the Z4 exhaust.

Supersprint revised their rear muffler designs to offer this 'Generation 2' version - smaller body and freer flow than the standard Supersprint muffler but quieter and more civilized than the full Lightweight Racing mufflers. It's still lighter than the stock original or standard Supersprint mufflers. The sound is a more refined version of the full racing mufflers with less drone and quieter overall but still with plenty of ripping S54 aural tone.

The Supersprint rear mufflers for the turbo Z4 is a subtle sound and performance improvement for those that think the stock muffler is too tame. This sport rear muffler is a free-flowing design with larger piping to improve flow and tune the sound. With the stock cats in place the sound is still subdued but the Supersprint muffler makes an alteration to the exhaust note to be a little more sporty and aggressive but not intrusive or obnoxious. This system includes the center X-pipe with slightly oversized piping for improved flow over the stock system. The tips on the system are similar to the factory single round tips but slightly bigger so they fill out the bumper better and look more sporting.
