Set of 12 ProSeries ARP2000 connecting rod bolts for the Euro-spec M3 engine. Made by ARP, the world leader in fastener technology. The best rod bolts available for the Euro S50 and S54. Ideal for ultra high performance, racing & forced induction applications. Each bolt is made of ARP2000 material, which exceeds the strength of 8740 Chrome Moly, and is able to achieve clamp load at 220,000psi. ARP2000 fasteners are used widely in professional motorsport and drag racing as an upgrade from 8740 Chrome Moly in both steel and aluminum rods.

This set replaces the factory BMW Euro S50B30 and B32 rod bolts with part number 11-24-1-317-184 (11241317184) and 11-24-1-405-890 (11241405890). It's also used for S54 engines with stock M10 sized rod bolts, which were used from February 2003 production and later. It was also used in earlier engines that had connecting rods replaced. For these 2001-2003 models there is no easy way to check if the rods were replaced, except by checking the rod bolt diameter. If your car has the earlier M11 sized bolt, use ARP kit #201-6103 . Before opening the ARP kit, we recommend that you check your existing rod bolt size as BMW was not consistent with their applications. ARP bolts are not returnable if the package has been open.

ARP is a company that prides itself on performance and durability, no matter the application. Offering the finest engine hardware money can buy is the driving initiative at ARP and this is evidenced by the staggering amount of satisfied customers and race teams the world over.

These ARP connecting rod bolts fit the following BMWs:
1993-1999 E36 BMW Euro M3
2001-2/2003 E46 M3 coupe / convertible*
2/2003-2006 E46 M3 coupe / convertible
2001-2002 MZ3 M Roadster & M Coupe*
2006-2008 MZ4 M Roadster & M Coupe
* - these engines could have either M10 or M11 sized bolts. If the rods and rod bearings were replaced under recall by BMW it should have the newer M10 bolts and this is the correct ARP set to order.

Virtually every top professional BMW engine builder relies on ARP Pro Series head studs. ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Each stud is heat-treated to 200,000 psi, ensuring complete heat penetration. ARP studs are threaded after heat-treat, which gives them 1000% (that's ten times!) better fatigue strength than studs threaded prior to heat-treat. Threading the studs after heat-treating is more difficult and costly (as it's harder on tooling) but the results are well worth the effort. These simply are the best head studs we've found for the E36 6 cylinder engines, and we highly recommend them in both the racing and forced induction arena. (Due to the additional clamping force between the head and block, these are IDEAL for turbo charging and supercharging!)

Converting from the factory BMW head bolts to head studs makes it much easier to assemble an engine, especially a racing powerplant which must be serviced frequently (and quickly!), and also ensures proper alignment of the head and gasket. Head studs also provide more accurate and consistent torque loading. Here's why: When you use bolts to secure the head, the fastener is actually being "twisted" while it's being torqued to the proper reading. Accordingly, the bolt is reacting to two different forces simultaneously. A head stud should be installed in a "relaxed" mode -- never crank it in tightly using a jammed nut. If everything is right, the stud should be installed finger tight. Then, when applying torque to the nut, the stud will stretch only on the vertical axis. An information sheet is provided with each set. Kit includes everything pictured -- 14 head bolts, washers, bolts and assembly lubricant.

ARP is a company that prides itself on performance and durability, no matter the application. Offering the finest engine hardware money can buy is the driving initiative at ARP and this is evidenced by the staggering amount of satisfied customers and race teams the world over.

These head studs fit the following BMWs/engines (steel block only)
1992-1995 M50 6 cylinder including 325i, 325is and 525i
1996-1999 M52 6 cylinder including 328i, 328is, 323is, 528i

The roller rocker arms transfer the rotational force of the camshaft to open the intake and exhaust valves. One end is raised and lowered by the rotating lobe of the camshaft, while the other end acts on the associated valve stem. If a roller rocker arm has failed you may experience a constant ticking noise during engine operation, or alternatively if the rocker arm has broken, you will receive multiple misfires and a rough running engine.

These bolts are M11 size to replace the stock M11 BMW bolt part number 11-24-7-834-310 (11247834310). The M11 bolt size was used in S54 engines up to 2/2003 production. However, most S54 engines up to that point had their rod bearings replaced under a factory recall and some may have had new connecting rods installed at the same time (or even a new engine altogether). The new bolts installed in these earlier engines are M10 size. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing which rod or bolt is currently in your car (unless your car came with service records detailing when and what was replaced). The only sure way to know is to check the bolts currently installed in your engine. If yours was updated to the M10 sized bolt, use ARP kit #201-6102 . ARP bolts are not returnable if the pacakge has been open.

ARP is a company that prides itself on performance and durability, no matter the application. Offering the finest engine hardware money can buy is the driving initiative at ARP and this is evidenced by the staggering amount of satisfied customers and race teams the world over.

This ARP main stud set for the 24 valves M50-based 6 cylinder engines (including M50, M52, S50US and S52US) and eliminates main cap walk and fretting, as well as protects the threads in your engine block. Each stud is made using the best materials, process, design and engineering, which exceeds even the most stringent racing and aerospace specifications. This main stud kit includes aerospace quality nuts. The studs are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated in-house to 190,000 psi tensile strength, and precision J-form threads rolled after heat-treat to create a fastener that has threads 1000% stronger than others. On the E30 M3, there's no reason to settle for anything less than the best, which is why we carry and use ARP fasteners and studs on our own BMW race cars. Unlike traditional BMW engines, modern engines, like the B48 and B58, use a volume-flow-regulated oil pump. Instead of providing a consistent volume of oil, these new systems control oil supply at each individual operating range.

This Control Valve Solenoid is a critical component in the volume-flow-regulated oiling system. This piece seamlessly adjusts the oil pressure based on inputs from the DME. In the event of failure, this means the engine oil supply system may become restricted.

Thankfully, Bremmen Parts offers this high-quality, OE replacement Control Valve Solenoid at a fraction of Genuine price. Built with durability and fitment in mind, this component is an exact fit for your BMW.

This eccentric shaft is a vital component of your BMW's N55 Valvetronic system, responsible for precise control of valve lift. In the N55 engine, the Valvetronic system uses intermediate levers between the camshaft and lifters to adjust valve lift dynamically. These levers are actuated by this eccentric shaft, which is rotated by an electronically controlled motor under the direction of the engine computer.

Eccentric shaft failure is a common issue in N55 engines, often caused by inadequate lubrication due to extended oil change intervals. The most frequent failure occurs when the eccentric shaft gear wears down, leading to disengagement from the motor's worm drive. Symptoms include multiple fault codes, such as P1014 (Shaft Parity Error), P1017 (Shaft Sensor Plausibility), P1023 (Valvetronic Adjustment Range), and P10E1 (Valvetronic System No Travel Detected).

If your BMW is experiencing Valvetronic-related fault codes, a failing eccentric shaft could be the source of the problem. Opt for this premium direct replacement from Bremmen Parts to restore your Valvetronic system's functionality and ensure a durable, high-quality repair.

Virtually every top professional BMW engine builder relies on ARP Pro Series head studs. ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Each stud is heat-treated, ensuring complete heat penetration, to increase the clamping load up to 200,000 psi. ARP studs are threaded after heat-treat, which gives them 1000% (that's ten times!) better fatigue strength than studs threaded prior to heat-treat. Threading the studs after heat-treating is more difficult and costly (as it's harder on tooling) but the results are well worth the effort. These simply are the best head studs we've found and we highly recommend them in both racing and forced induction applications. Due to the additional clamping force between the head and block, these are IDEAL for turbocharged engines.

This ARP Main Stud Kit is designed to replace BMW 11111735525 for the M50/M52/S50/S52 engines that were used in a variety of BMW models. One significant advantage of these main studs is their ability to prevent main cap walk, which can occur when the main caps shift or move out of position, potentially causing damage to the engine. In addition, ARP Main Studs can safeguard the threads of your engine block, providing an extra layer of protection against potential damage. When opting for main studs instead of factory bolts, it's important to note that the engine builder should mic the bores. Using studs may require a line hone to ensure proper fitment and alignment. A line hone is a machining process that can be used to resize and reshape the main bearing bores, ensuring that they are perfectly round and concentric. This is crucial for ensuring proper oil clearance and preventing premature bearing wear. By mic'ing the bores and performing a line hone if necessary, engine builders can ensure that the main studs are installed correctly and that the engine will perform reliably and at its best. Installation Instructions: To ensure accurate torque readings and proper thread engagement, thoroughly clean all threads in the engine block. If necessary, use an ARP chaser to chase the threads. Before installing any hardware, carefully inspect and clean it for defects, shipping damage, and proper fit, length, and dimension. Gently screw the main studs into the engine block by hand until they are snug. Install the main caps, checking for any binding or misalignment. Apply ARP Ultra-torque fastener assembly lubricant to the threads of the studs, nuts, and washers. Install the washers and nuts onto the studs and tighten them by hand. It is highly recommended to use the ARP Ultra-torque fastener assembly lubricant provided with the kit, as it provides consistent clamping force and reduces friction on the studs. Do not use motor oil or other low-quality lubricants. PRELOAD (TORQUE) RECOMMENDATIONS 7. Following the manufacturer-recommended torque sequence tighten the nuts in steps 1-3 Step 1: Tighten to 20 ft-lbs. Step 2: Tighten to 40 ft-lbs. Step 3: Tighten to 60 ft-lbs. With the included ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant
