When it comes to control arms on the track, making them as stiff as you can (usually using solid mounts) is the best way to increase your driving precision by eliminating the deflection of rubber. The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers.

When it comes to the E36 chassis you also get the options of choosing a stock centered design or going with the E30 inspired offset bushing to increase castor, further taking advantage of improvd handling. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.

Our renowned TMS adjustable front sway bar / swaybar links for BMWs are now available in custom lengths, making them easy to order for any aftermarket or custom suspension setups. Simply measure for your ideal link length, and order the links with the best length range (below). Each sway bar link has a 10mm diameter mounting pin/stud, which is the typical factory/stock size for a universal fitment. These are sold by the pair, and each set includes two matching sway bar end links.

These end links offer the quiet operation and long life of "stock" BMW end links, but with the strength and adjustability of rod-end style sway bar links. These sway bar links can be used on a wide variety of BMWs and aftermarket BMW suspensions. When measuring, please consider that the length ranges of our Custom Adjustable end links are measured from the center to center on the end link mounting stud / pin, as shown in our diagram.

Note for E9X M3: the unique mounting on the M3 strut requires a set of our adapter seats (#TSU9912AF9). You can add them with your links from the menu below.

The rear mounts in BMW 3 series fail, no matter what year from 1983 to present, that is a weak point of the suspension. Here's the solution. The 3 Series "Repair Shop" Rear Shock Mounts carry a lifetime warranty and will last as long as you own your car. Expect the same comfortable ride you have with factory mounts. These are an inexpensive alternative to expensive factory mounts.

Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).  We wanted to offer e30, e36, and e46 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street, but weren’t satisfied with the other options out there.  Instead of a Delrin® bushing or unsealed spherical bearing alone, we selected an oversized sealed greaseable spherical monoball to offer unparalleled durability and precision, but designed a Delrin® adapter sleeve to help isolate the added noise, vibration, and harshness that a full solid monoball bearing will have. While race-ready, our hybrid Delrin®/monoball control arm bearings are more at home on the street than other kits that are advertised as “race-only” bearings. We did extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the spherical bearing used in this bushing design excelled in each setting.

The stock rubber bushings, even those found in the M3, allow significant fore/aft movement of the front wheels to help absorb road impacts, especially when being pushed hard.  This soft flexible design maximizes daily driving comfort, but also allows considerable alignment change.  This unwanted deflection stands between you and a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience.  The advantage of a monoball bearing is that it will not deflect under load, eliminating all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete freedom of movement in the desired angles. What you get is superior steering precision with better handling from more consistent alignment and direct braking feedback, with exceptional service life.  Thanks to the Delrin® insert and double lip seals, there's none of the extra noise or reduced service life often found on other spherical bearings.

Made in the USA The motor mount area on a subframe is one of those easily-forgotton areas that may be hiding a serious problem. The subframe on the E36 has a gusset ('ear') welded on for the motor mounts. These gussets take the stress of the motor mount as the engine torques (more upgrades = more torque = more stress). Worn motor mounts only transfer more stress to the subframe. Unfortunately, the gusset is not well-reinforced from the factory and cracks can develop along the welds and the gusset begins to collapse. A total failure of the guesset will shift your engine to the side and forward, taking out many other components along the way and leading to a very costly repair.

The next time you replace the motor mounts, oil pan gasket, checking your oil pump nut, or any other time you drop the front subframe, you should install these reinforcements. This kit comes with steel reinforcing plates that are welded to the underside of the guesset as well as plates to close off the bottom of the gusset for extra strength. One of the tricks for getting your BMW to handle better is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will put more of the tire's width in contact with the ground during cornering. With more rubber there is more grip. BMWs typically have less camber in the front to create understeer. But if you're running a stock setup on the track or autocross you are giving up speed and time as the front tires run out of grip sooner than they should. 

Increasing the negative camber of your E36 M3 will reduce understeer and prolong the life of your tires when used on the track. These plates simply bolt on top of the factory upper strut bearings and increase negative camber by .5 or 2 degrees, depending on the holes you chose to use. We maximized the available camber available with a stock-diameter sized spring. Vehicle height in the front will be raised by .25”. We also added material to the surface area of the mount to increase stiffness of contact area, therefore reducing the strut tower deformation and increasing the strength of the strut towers. Fixed mount camber plates are legal for many racing and autocross classes. These are the perfect camber solution when adjustable plates are not allowed in your class.

You get the best of both worlds with this pair of Turner Motorsport adjustable sway bar links. We searched far and wide to find the hidden gem of swaybar links. You get the same quiet operation and long life as the stock links plus the strength and adjustability of rod-end style sway bar links.

With the wide range of suspensions and sway bars available today adjustable sway bar links can help you with many problems. Along with the ability to remove preload you can change the length to maximize sway bar geometry. Example: if the sway bar hoop comes too close to the steering rack, oil cooler, or under tray in its suspension travel you can adjust it by simply lengthening or shorting the adjustment rod. In some cases you may need a longer or shorter adjustment rod to achieve optimal geometry. We also offer these same links in other custom lengths (click here) that may not be specific to BMW chassis.

These bushings have the hole off-center to give your car a little more track, caster, and camber. This style came as standard equipment on E30 M3s (8/89-later) and 1995 E36 M3 but will work with any E30, E36, Z3.

Rubber control arm bushings are designed to flex and absorb energy. That's fine on a streetcar but on an all-out racing machine you want your alignment to stay constant. We have picked Delrin for this application due to its high rigidity and low coefficient of friction allowing for minimal suspension bushing deflection (geometry change) but decreasing bushing windup or drag (friction). They are not recommended for street-use but highly-recommended for track cars.

To save time, pick up a pair of new bushing carrier brackets and hardware. This will save you the time and hassle of pressing out the old bushings. This will especially save you time if you're buying new control arms at the same time (no time wasted removing the old brackets from the arms). Stainless steel set screws included.

The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers.

When it comes to the E36 chassis you also get the options of choosing a stock centered design or going with the E30 inspired offset bushing to increase castor, further taking advantage of improvd handling. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.

To makes this an easier process, we are proud to introduce our Pre-Installed Turner Motorsport Front Control Arm Monoball Upgrade kit! Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011). We wanted to offer e30, e36, and e46 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street, but weren’t satisfied with the other options out there. Instead of a Delrin® bushing or unsealed spherical bearing alone, we selected an oversized sealed greaseable spherical monoball to offer unparalleled durability and precision, but designed a Delrin® adapter sleeve to help isolate the added noise, vibration, and harshness that a full solid monoball bearing will have. Turner's new Performance Front End Links feature massive Teflon-lined FK 1/2" Bearings to provide the highest load capacity for use with stiffer aftermarket sway bars. Custom heat-treated Chromoly High Misalignment studs connect to the sway bar and offer extreme articulation capability (65 degrees) to prevent the end link from binding when used with different adjustment holes on aftermarket sway bars. The end links are length adjustable to eliminate preload on the sway bars, which can result from uneven settling of springs or uneven suspension heights from corner weighting. Blue Anodized 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckles work in conjunction with the left and right-hand threaded rod ends for simple and precise adjustment. A BMWs sub-frame is the heart of the suspension - as the subframe twists and shifts under load, all of the suspension mounting points also move. The rear suspension feels loose and lacks precision. As rubber or hydroelastic bushings wear, the bushing deflection gets worse. If you have a track driven BMW, you're putting even more strain on weak bushings. The solution is a stiffer and more durable material. Even BMW has moved to solid mounts on the modern F10 M5 and F8X M3/M4. These fully solid 318ti/Z3 aluminum mounts have zero deflection - the subframe does not move at all. The rest of the suspension can work as designed and maintain the proper alignment and motion ratios. The driver will notice the difference as the car is more stable and the handling is more precise. Although we designed these for use in our racecars, they can work on the street so long as the driver can tolerate some additional noise, vibration, and harshness. These mounts are CNC machined in the USA and made with high-grade aluminum.

Made in the USA This product reinforces the metal swaybar link mounting point on the rear trailing arm. The sheet metal breaks off the trailing arm due to the constant up and down loads being placed on the trailing arm from the swaybar. Problems increase when larger sway bars are used. This product eliminates the problem by thickening the sheet metal and triangulating the mounting point. A good time to install this kit would be when you are doing any rear suspension work, exhaust, or even if you are just doing a differential fluid change. This part requires welding for installation.

The sway bar on your vehicle is essentially a connection between the left and right lower control arms. When you take a corner in your vehicle, the sway bars flex and rebound like a spring.
