Many BMWs, especially older models, feature pinch welds where the floor pan meets the rocker. These run from wheel-well-to-wheel-well and are an especially appealing jacking location with one shortfall - jacking on an unprotected pinch weld will frequently cause an unsightly bent and damaged weld. The ECS Rear Damping Extension Kit solves that problem with a clean and functional solution. These flexible extensions relocate the adjustment knobs to an easily accessible point above the rear shock towers, letting you dial in your suspension from inside the cabin, no disassembly required.

Installation is straightforward: simply drill a small access hole in your interior trim and route the extension cables through. The adjustment knobs can be removed to allow the line to pass through smaller openings, minimizing cutting. For proper installation, be sure to fully loosen the set screw, insert the cable, then securely tighten it using the provided Allen key.
