This is a high quality reproduction of the Euro-only model E46 M3 CSL style front bumper cover spoiler. Unlike the stock E46 M3 style bumper, this CSL style has no fog light openings, and a single duct on the driver's side that can be made to function as a cold air intake inlet/duct. The bumper is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic, just like a factory BMW bumper covers. It also features pre-installed carbon fiber lips, very much in keeping with the factory CSL part. Best of all, this CSL-inspired bumper is available for only a fraction of what a real CSL bumper would sell for -- the BMW dealers themselves are forbidden from ordering genuine CSL parts anymore, making the "real thing" even harder to come by. This bumper comes as shown, primed ready to prep and paint. Includes US license plate mount (bumper is pre-drilled to accpet the license plate mount). The screen for the intake hole is not included but can be added from the options below. Professional paint and installation is highly recommended.

The E46 M3 is an amazing looking car right out of the box but a common BMW issue is the height of the front vs rear bumpers. As far back as the E30, the front bumper is much lower than the rear bumper and the E46 M3 faces the same issue. With this problem the front bumper is always super low to the ground and the rear bumper looks in-complete. The ECS add-on diffuser is a unique option for balancing out the rear bumper with the height of the front bumper for a full and complete look.

For the factory replacements ECS focus was to take the oem characteristics and add a twist and really bring out a more aggressive look with a direct replacement diffuser. For their new line of diffusers, us as car enthusiasts wanted to design a set of diffusers that really pushed the envelope and stepped outside of our comfort zone. Our new line of add-on diffusers is a result of our engineering team and fellow enthusiasts spending time study the M3 chassis, modeling different designs, testing prototypes and making changes to get a final product that we are extremely excited to offer. This CSL inspired trunk lid for 1999-2006 E46 3 series Coupes and saves precious weight over the heavy steel stock BMW trunk lid. It also looks great, especially if you are into the naked carbon fiber look. This particular trunk lid's styling has a slightly swept up rear edge, reminiscent of the E46 M3 CSL -- which also had a carbon fiber trunk lid with an integral "spoiler" edge built into it.
