Failed, leaking or lifeless old shocks make your BMW feel unsettled, cause uneven tire wear and can even be dangerous. Your BMW's shocks are a critical part of the suspension system, and should keep your tires planted on the road. If your shocks haven't been replaced in 60, 80 or 100 miles, you are definitely due for a new set.

The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Kit includes two front struts and two rear shocks. These shocks are for use with lowered springs such as from H&R or Eibach. We do not recommend that you use them with any factory spring, including factory sport package springs. With the increased damping rates from stock you will have much more control over body motions. These will give a much more buttoned down and taut feeling with lowering springs compared to stock shocks.

Rear Bilstein shock. This shock is classified as a Sport and HD for E36 M3 and E46 325xi/330xi applications. It's about 20% stiffer than a factory shock but has the correct extended and collapsed lengths to be used with either a stock or lowered suspension. Includes dust boot, top nut, and lower mount washer (critical!). Price is per shock.
