Includes everything needed for a rod bearing service, featuring BE Bearings upgraded rod bearings. The S65 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure, and if your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing which can trash your crankshaft. BE Bearings, in conjunction with Clevite, an OE bearing manufacturer, have redesigned and manufactured the bearings for greater clearance and have changed the original material composition from tin-aluminum to lead-copper. This upgrade incorporated the state-of-the-art Clevite Tri-Metal design and featured a Tri-Armor™ coating. This allows for the additional lubrication for wear prevention, plus, the softer bearings are better for your engine and are more tolerant of foreign particles suspended in your oil. Another benefit from this is that the oil can now be sent for testing to accurately gauge the amount of wear occurring in the engine. Kit includes Upper and lower BE Bearings upgraded rod bearings Hardware Oil filter Castrol TWS Edge Professional 10W 60 Oil pan gasket RedLine assembly lube

The S65 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure, and if your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing which can trash your crankshaft. What is WPC, you ask? WPC is a surface treatment that reduces friction and adds strength - two improvements that benefit internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds, like shot-peening - but much, much smaller. The parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. The two largest enemies of any high-performance engine are heat and friction - and WPC has found a way to reduce both. What are you waiting for? Use WPC-treated bearings on your next engine build or rod bearing service! Kit includes Upper and lower WPC Treated Genuine BMW Rod Bearings Hardware Oil filter Castrol TWS Edge Professional Oil pan gasket RedLine assembly lube
