BMW E92 M3 Camber / Caster Kits The camber setting in your alignment is one of the most crucial aspects of your suspension and the overall driving experience. Unfortunately, most BMWs do not have a camber adjustment in the front and a limited adjustment in the rear. This can be frustrating because camber comes into play whenever you make changes to the suspension or when you want more negative camber for more grip and better handling. There are multiple reasons to adjust camber -

•  You want more front end grip to reduce understeer and create a more balanced handling scenario,
•  You have lowered the car and need to reduce negative camber due to inside tire wear
•  You added wider tires or wheels and need extra clearance to bodywork,
•  Your car was in an accident or collision and the camber setting is now wrong. Note: there may be other factors to this situation and we recommend finding the root cause rather than a quick-fix.

We offer front fixed or adjustable camber plates or camber/caster plates, rear adjustable camber arms, and rear adjustable camber bushings from KMAC, Vorshlag, and also our own designs to fit your specific needs. In most cases, these adjustable camber kits are a direct replacement for the stock BMW part, enabling a seamless upgrade. Adjustable camber can be dialed-in using ordinary hand tools and most kits have reference marks for consistent and repeatable adjustments. No drilling, slotting, or welding required! Some kits perform specific functions and fit with specific types of suspensions (stock, stock-type, coil-over, etc). Turner Motorsport Track - Max Lowered - Adjustable Camber Plates - E82, E9X

These are the Turner Camber Plates used on our Championship-winning E90 race cars (also fits E82 1-series). These plates adjust camber with a fixed caster setting and have a lot of important motorsport-developed features that other camber kits do not. These were a clean-sheet design when we raced the E90 328i in the Grand-Am/IMSA GS class.

By placing a specific focus on minimizing stack height while retaining strength, our "Max Lowered" camber plates offer maximum shock travel to allow dampers to perform properly at a wide range of ride heights.

The Turner E90 Race Camber Plates are the most advanced design on the market. These are designed specifically for the E90 chassis - no shortcuts or cookie-cutter components. We started with a fresh design to make these very user friendly and easy to install and set up. The E90 front suspension has unique geometry and the strut is mounted at an angle that can put significant side loading on the strut shaft if it's not located properly. The location and angles for the main bearing were carefully engineered to allow the proper motion ratio and strut angles during adjustment. This greatly reduces bending forces on the strut itself which improves performance and longevity. By designing for one chassis we're able to focus on what works best in that application - proper fitment and operation without unnecessary adapters, easy-to-use camber and caster adjustments, and an intelligent modular design.

Another important feature of the Turner Camber Plates is the size of the upper plate. Our plates have a very large surface area to better spread strut forces through the strut tower. A smaller upper plate, like those found on competitor's kits, will localize strut forces and contribute to strut tower deformation ('strut tower mushrooming'). This is a very important feature especially as these cars get older and spend more time on the track. Deformed strut towers are a serious performance and safety concern and our camber plates are properly designed to handle the loads. The factory strut reinforcement plates are not required with our camber plates (but you can use them if you want to).

Since this design is specific to the E90, we can build it with the bare minimum of adapters and extra hardware. This not only cuts down on confusion but makes it easier to assemble and operate. We use the correct-sized bearing for the 16mm strut shaft; no sleeves or bearing adapters required. Only a small stainless steel spacer and the upper spring hats from your coil over kit are all that's required to install. We also produce the upper spring plates if you need them (see Additional Items below). We have used our camber plates with most of the major strut manufacturers on the market - AST, Koni Motorsport, Moton, Ohlins, MCS, Bilstein, and KW.

TC Kline Racing Camber Caster Plates - E36 E9X

One of the tricks for getting your BMW to handle better is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will put more of the tire's width in contact with the ground during cornering. With more rubber there is more grip. BMWs typically have less camber in the front to create understeer. But if you're running a stock setup on the track or autocross you are giving up speed and time as the front tires run out of grip sooner than they should.

Made from aircraft grade aluminium, with stainless steels strut inserts and hardware for the ultimate in durability for street or track use. The built in reinforcement plate reduces the stress on the shock tower to reduce the chance of the shock towers tearing. With a maximum adjustment rang of -1.5 degrees camber per side, these plates will allow you to get your suspension right where you need it.
