When an E9X is lowered beyond the limits of just lowering springs, the rear wheels toe-in excessively. This excessive rear toe leads to premature wear, that many people attribute to an increase in negative camber. It has become standard practice to go as low as you can and proceed to replace your tires every five to ten thousand miles.
