At Turner we are very familiar with the N55 and B58. These are the new generation engines that you you can pull quite a bit of power from quite easily, if you want to put the power to the pavement the factory bushings and reinforcement just wont cut it. With soo many performance parts available for the turbocharged engines, it is very easy to make power but keeping the car under control can be another story. Reduce wheel hop, extend the life of your bearings, and add stability to your chassis!
Our in-house engineers created a solution to help transfer the power to the ground, the result is a simple yet astounding improvement to the performance of your vehicle. The rear diff brace helps put power down by reducing wheel hop and preventing losses during power transfer. With the added rigidity the rear end feels tighter for high speed applications and will extend the life of your choice of OE or aftermarket bushings.
Soft factory rubber differential bushings absorb vibrations between the chassis and differential, providing comfort and softness for normal driving conditions. As these bushings wear you will experience lackluster performance/response and they will need to be replaced. You can extend the life of these bushings while providing increased chassis stability with our differential brace for your F chassis. Add new poly differential bushings for an even better experience (T#:656153)

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Turner F Chassis Differential brace was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team at Turner. Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing.
We have always loved BMWs, but one of their shortcomings has always been shifter throw and feel. Even driving your new BMW ///M home from the dealership, you might realize that the shifter throw leaves something to be desired when you find your right hand in your backseat when shifting into fourth gear. Things only go downhill from here, as these cars increase in age and mileage shifts feel less and less precise. Our short shifter offers 32 to 40% reduction in throw over stock. Note that this short shifter differs from our typical Turner short shifter in that it is solely height adjustable, not throw.
Note that we did notice some resonance when testing on vehicles with factory base model shift knobs (25117596084 or 25117596086, etc). We recommend running ZHP, M, or M Performance to both avoid this and give your shifts the best feel.

From the factory, all BMW models are equipped with soft rubber or fluid-filled engine mounts. While these mounts perform well at isolating drivetrain vibrations, they are prone to degradation and allow for significant drivetrain movement. This often results in a loose-feeling driveline, missed shifts, and a generally disconnected driving feel.
To address these issues, We have developed a performance alternative. Constructed from 6061 Billet Aluminum, these mounts are built to last. While most performance drivetrain mounts feature solid or polyurethane-bonded aluminum construction, the engineers at Turner designed a unique four-piece design that disburses NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). This multi-piece design offers the added benefit of serviceability. Additionally, encapsulating the polyurethane and adding a TecaPeek isolator prevents heat transfer to the insert, increasing the lifespan and durability of the mount.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.
By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.
