BMW Intake Parts for BMW 3 Series F34 (2014+)

This is a drop-in stock replacement aFe performance air filter that installs into your BMW's factory airbox. This version used aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a lightly oil gauze to filter out dirt and particulates, while allowing more air to flow to the intake. We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.

Fits in vehicles with the following engines: B46 2.0L, B58 3.0L

The smooth one-piece high quality sealed housing with auxiliary air inlet is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. Carbon Fiber Trim On Housing:
This Momentum GT intake system offers carbon fiber trim on the housing to give that motorsport appearance. This cover overlay is constructed of lightweight high gloss, clear-coated 2 x 2 twill-weave carbon fiber.

High-Quality Tube:
This system uses a high quality, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.

Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter:
The Momentum GT intake is designed around an oil-free, large 7-1/2" tall inverted top 360-degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process.

Premium Hardware:
Premium stainless steel clamp is used for strength while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.

When modifying the car and increasing boost, installing an upgraded intercooler is essential to keep the engine computer from restraining boost as temperatures climb. The stock air-air intercooler is quickly overcome with heat and can't keep the intake air cool enough. If it's too hot the engine computer will reduce power to safer levels. This Dinan intercooler is a dual-core air-air design with an astounding 240% more surface area than the factory intercooler. The temperature at boost is 60% cooler at 6,250 RPM with the Dinan Dual Core compared to stock. Even heat soak at low speeds is reduced, making this a worthwhile addition even for stock or mildly tuned engines. Professional installation is strongly recommended as bumper removal is required and several pieces in the front end need to be cut and trimmed. The factory charge piping in and out of the intercooler is re-used.

aFe has engineered the Momentum GT intake to outperform the stock air box and deliver substantial power and torque gains over the factory system. The B58 3.0L Turbo benefits from aFe's oversized cotton filter element in a Rotomold plastic housing that blocks heat saturated air while flowing more volume of cooler dense air. The system has been CAD designed to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo. The intake tube is a smooth, unobstructed single piece from the air inlet to the airbox and incorporates a port for the air flow sensor. aFe's advanced engineering and design have made this a direct bolt-in intake upgrade.

The aFe filter has been designed specifically for this application and uses aFe's high flow/low maintenance design. The ProDry S filter has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe Pro5R filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter media), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.

This Stage 2 cold air intake system produces 11 max horsepower, 15 lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 38%. This system includes a durable powder-coated heat shield and features a washable/reusable conical Pro 5R air filter for maximum flow. This air filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane, for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. A huge one-piece mandrel bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube, maximizes air velocity providing maximum performance and throttle response. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling.

It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred, where the original rubber diaphragm splits, which causes a loss of boost pressure. Unfortunately the failure doesn’t always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this.

Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering significantly improved reliability. Our valve is piston based with no diaphragm to fail, and of all aluminium construction. It replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation.

7" Tall Air Filter:
This intake system utilizes an oil-free, 7" tall conical 360-degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance.

High-Quality Tube:
This system uses a high quality, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.

Black Cover w/ Auxiliary Air Inlet:
This carbon fiber look cover is constructed with lightweight vacuumed formed ABS plastic for underhood appearance. A urethane plug is also included if you wish to block off the auxiliary air inlet.

Hassle-Free Installation:
All clamps, coupling and hardware are included for hassle-free installation. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling on factory parts.
