This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration. The 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings. This disc is designed for street driven vehicles. This clutch has a slightly increased holding capacity then the FX300 but will have a slightly more aggressive engagement and will produce some chatter. Similar to the FX300 this clutch is designed for the serious street enthusiast who also might spend a weekend and the track and is running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2. This clutch is designed for the ultimate street enthusiast running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2. The FX300 has proven to be one of our most successful single disc clutch options over the years. By combining the use of Kevlar friction material in a segmented format, we create more pounds per square inch, allowing more torque holding capacity while still delivering exceptional life. Our Kevlar material is non-abrasive and doesn’t score the mating surfaces. The FX300 features only slightly increased pedal pressure, long life, and positive engagement. The Ultimate Clutch Pedal is a short throw design and sits 15mm lower than the original pedal position. There's less 'leg lift' to put your foot at the top of the pedal. This eliminates wasted motion and saves time during every shift. An adjustable clutch stop is included to fine tune the travel and release characteristics.
