Your factory E36 clutch pedal is made of flimsy plastic with no adjustment at all, leaving you to the mercy of the clutch you have.

Our Turner Performance Adjustable Clutch Pedal is a rigid design that gives you the ability to fully adjust your clutch feel and performance. With both upper and lower adjustments this is the best pedal on the market to fine tune your clutch pedal just the way you like it. The upper eccentric provides an adjustable pedal ratio to fine tune clutch pedal effort(how heavy the pedal feels). The lower adjustment is to change the position of the clutch assist spring, this allows you to choose where the clutch assisting spring engages. Changing where the spring engages will move the area of tension on your clutch from lower, middle to higher for maximum adjustment.

Your race car no longer needs to have a clutch that makes the car undriveable on the street. Your track car can now be your daily driver or weekend cruiser.

We know if a soft mount offers a sloppy connection it doesn't work on the track, and a solid mount isn't acceptable as a daily driver (for most!) and set out to engineer a mount that would meet the needs for both. At the core of our enclosed design is a partially-constrained, multi-piece polyurethane bushing with precisely-set preload. This architecture absorbs and disperses resonant engine frequencies as opposed to amplifying them (like some other designs do), which results in a positive-connection, enthusiast-feel mount with the vibration.

Sometimes choosing the correct shift kit proves difficult when you dual-purpose your favorite vehicle, we understand this well. The early days for any race enthusiast usually begins with a car that is needed to daily drive and setup to get out on the track. What becomes difficult is properly modifying that car to feel comfortable in both situations which is why we took this view on our new short shift line. This upgraded lever is a quick swap option to replace the standard shift lever that come with our kits so you can keep your hands closer to the wheel while shifting at high speeds. Designed from anodized aluminum this lever looks great in any interior for the daily driver who simply prefers the taller lever look and feel.

If allowed in the rules these solid aluminum transmission mounts offer many advantages over a urethane or Delrin mounts. It's no wonder that these mounts have found their way into the top BMW racers in the country. These are machined from solid aluminum and have zero deflection, engine torque will cause a rubber or urethane mount to flex or deflect allowing more torque to passed through the drive line (instead of being wasted winding up the mount). This puts the shift linkages in better consistent alignment. And unlike rubber or urethane the aluminum has zero wear and is not affected by leaking oil or other fluids so this is likely the last set of transmission mounts you will ever need. We very strongly recommend using the solid transmission and engine mounts together as a complete kit, mixing a rubber mount with a metal mount will cause undue stress on the mounting points and will lead to a failure. We never advise using a solid mount unless a corresponding solid mount is also used.

These are a no-compromise design for all-out racing use, full solid aluminum mounts should not be used on street-driven cars since there is no material to absorb vibration making these quite harsh for regular street use (track cars don't care about noise).

Even driving your BMW home from the dealership, you might realize that the shifter throw leaves something to be desired when you find your right hand in your backseat when shifting into fourth gear. Things only go downhill from here, as these cars increase in age and mileage shifts feel less and less precise. Here at Turner, we CAD design everything in house and source the best materials to give you a truly amazing product and enhance the driving experience in your ultimate driving machine. We wanted to develop something that could fit any BMW owner’s preferences - our engineering team decided this could be designed a height and throw adjustable short shifter that also features a “Quick Change” rally lever extension that allows you to easily swap back and forth between OE height shifter and the longer, rally lever you see in the product photos. Its increased strength, longevity, and overdrive sixth gear make it a great choice for both track cars and daily drivers. Unfortunately, many of the components needed to complete this transplant have become hard to source. Despite increased demand from enthusiasts, BMW has blocked the sale of European E36 M3 parts into North America.

With this in mind, our team of engineers went to work designing a direct replacement and upgrade for the unavailable, 420G-specific shifter arm. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and clear anodized, our replacement carrier is durable, lightweight, and built to last. Like all OEM selector rods, the factory part uses single-shear attachment, allowing for deflection within the shifter linkage. The result? Vague, imprecise gear selections that detract from your overall driving experience. The dual-shear selector rod (DSSR) design spreads the torsional force of gear selections across the selector rod joint, reducing deflection for increased precision. Our dual-shear selector rod is precision-machined from durable 304 stainless steel to further reduce deflection and resist corrosion.

Built to last, made from a single piece of 6061 billet aluminum with a rugged and good-looking hard-coat anodizing our diff cover can handle anything you throw at it. Not only is it an absolute masterpiece to look at but the billet diff cover checks all the boxes for features needed. Reinforced mounting ears for strength and stability, never again will you break an ear off your diff cover like the factory units are known to do. Each ear is not only unified with the one-piece billet cover but also feature added material for the highest durability possible. This diff cover is cool, literally, the entire construction was designed with optimized cooling in mind. External fins are strategically placed on the rear face, bottom, and between the mounting ears of the cover, serving as effective heat sinks for optimal heat dissipation. This ensures stable temperatures, promoting longevity for both the fluid and your differential. Additionally, the internal design ensures continuous oiling and lubrication to the ring gear, maintaining its stability and preventing fatigue by controlling heat more effectively. An internal baffle at the cover's corner helps maintain proper pressure and prevents cavitation.

All of the OEM features were retained along with the upgrades. The mounting surface was designed to be compatible with both the OEM gasket or RTV of your choosing, some people don't trust the gaskets and we get it. You can transfer your speed sensor directly to your upgraded billet cover and it even features a provision for the sensor wire mounting. Factory bushing geometry allows you to use any E36 diff busing including rubber, poly, and even solid mounts. The drain and fill plugs on the diff cover are upgraded to -6AN using the provided high-pressure fittings with replaceable o-rings. The drain and fill plugs can now also be used for expanding to an external oil cooler allowing you to further expand the fluid capacity for optimized cooling and service intervals. To keep an eye on things from the driver seat is 1/8 NPT provision for temp sensors, this product from Turner has you covered at every turn.

Why the upgrade?

If you're new to differential covers used in earlier generations like the E30, you'll find significant improvements in the OEM E36 cover. Unlike the E30's single mount design, the E36 features a dual mount design, which was introduced to address common issues such as broken mounts due to worn-out bushings and aggressive driving. This upgrade significantly enhanced durability and reliability.

While the factory E36 differential cover was a significant improvement with its dual mounts compared to the previous generation, there are still some shortcomings that the original cover doesn't address. Most factory differential covers, including those on the E36, are cast from aluminum. However, due to the porous nature of cast aluminum, the mounting ears on these covers cannot withstand the intense shocks typical in motorsport or in vehicles with significantly increased power.

Upgrading to our Reinforced Billet Differential cover gives you the strength you need to push your car to its limits without worrying about snapping a diff mount from clutch kicking or other shocks to the drivetrain. In addition to its enhanced strength, this differential cover includes numerous other upgrades and conveniences. These include improved cooling and lubrication for the ring gear, upgraded fill and drain plugs, and the option to expand an external oil cooler for extreme motorsport usage. Designed to complement both upgraded daily drivers and extensively modified track cars, it also boasts a visually appealing design.

This kit uses the stock E36 M3 clutch with a JB Racing aluminum flywheel for an outstanding improvement in the non-M E36 328i/is. The stock M3 clutch is larger than the E36 328i disc and was used in the 321hp Euro M3 � way more clutch than you need on a 2.8-liter M52 (even supercharged cars). But because it�s a factory clutch the feel, durability, engagement, fitment, etc are OE spec! This package is in one of our own E36 328�s and has performed perfectly in over 60,000 miles of use.

    If you own an E36 but have never done a clutch job, you�re in for an unpleasant surprise! The stock flywheels don�t usually last much longer than 100,000 miles. You might be able to have it machined but only if you�re lucky. The best route is to have a new flywheel on hand when installing the clutch. This package is actually about the same price as buying a new OEM clutch and new OEM flywheel! And there�s a big performance boost!

    What about noise? This package was installed in Drew�s 1994 325is 60,000 miles ago. �I expected a trade-off when putting the aluminum flywheel on but the rattle is way less than what I was scared into believing. The rattle is not there all the time. And when I do hear it, I know what it is and immediately dismiss it. I�ve never had a bystander tell me to get my car checked out. And I�ve never had a passenger comment on it � they just ask why I�m revving the car so high� Without a doubt this will be a repeat mod on a future car. I�m using the regular Red Line MTL oil too.�

Even driving your BMW home from the dealership, you might realize that the shifter throw leaves something to be desired when you find your right hand in your backseat when shifting into fourth gear. Things only go downhill from here, as these cars increase in age and mileage shifts feel less and less precise. Here at Turner, we CAD design everything in house and source the best materials to give you a truly amazing product and enhance the driving experience in your ultimate driving machine. After extensive testing and development, we are proud to present you with our Turner Motorsport short shifter. We wanted to develop something that could fit any BMW owner’s preferences - our engineering team decided this could be designed a height and throw adjustable short shifter that also features a “Quick Change” rally lever extension that allows you to easily swap back and forth between OE height shifter and the longer, rally lever you see in the product photos. Why the rally lever extension? Having the added height allows you to keep both hands closer to the wheel through shifts - this is especially helpful on the track, but we like it in our daily drivers too.

    Made in the USA If allowed in the rules these solid aluminum engine and transmission mounts offer many advantages over a urethane or Delrin mounts. It's no wonder that these mounts have found their way into the top BMW racers in the country. We originally developed these mounts for E36 and E46 World Challenge racing but they also work perfect in BMW Modified and SCCA club racing and SpecE46 (SE46). These are machined from solid aluminum and have zero deflection. The engine torque will cause a rubber or urethane mount to flex or deflect. The stiffer the material the less movement there is and the more torque is passed through the driveline (instead of being wasted winding up the mount). At the transmission end the flex-free solid mounts will give smoother, crisper shifts since the transmission is no longer dancing on the pliable mount. This puts the shift linkages in better consistent alignment. And unlike rubber or urethane the aluminum has zero wear and is not affected by leaking oil or other fluids so this is likely the last set of motor and transmission mounts you will ever need. We have designed these mounts so the engine is 5mm lower and the transmission is 1mm lower than the factory mounts. This helps lower the center of gravity for better balance and handling. We very strongly recommend using the transmission and engine mounts together as a complete kit. Mixing a rubber mount with a metal mount will cause undue stress on the mouting points and will lead to a failure. We never advise using a solid mount unless a corresponding solid mount is also used. This kit fits the E36, E46, Z3, and Z4 6 cylinder models listed below, including M3 models.

    These are a no-compromise design for all-out racing use. Full solid aluminum mounts should not be used on street-driven cars. Because there is no material to absorb vibration these will be quite harsh for regular street use (track cars don't care about noise).

    Subframe reinforcement kits are very strongly recommended to go along with these solid motor mounts to reduce the risk of damage to the subframe. The motor mount section of the subframe should be reinforced to prevent stress and failure of the subframe.

    Red Line 75W140 is a full synthetic high-performance gear oil that is an excellent substitute for expensive factory fluid and an upgrade over off-the-shelf economy fluid. Red Line thoroughly evaluates the manufacturer's recommendations and only makes a fluid recommendation if their own product meets or exceeds the original specification. In many cases the Red Line synthetic will outperform the factory supplied fluids. We've been using Red Line Oil in our BMWs since we opened in 1994 and it remains our best selling BMW differential fluid. 75/140 is a specialized weight used for BMW M3, M5, and M6 models with the M Variable limited slip diff (all M models since 2001). Red Line fluid is used in nearly all E46 M3, E92 M3, E60 M5 we service as well as the custom differentials that we sell. It's great for the street where the polyol-ester base has natural lubricity and friction modifiers lead to smoother and quieter operation with lower operating temps than the factory fluid. We also use it in the track cars we build and prep. It may also be used in other specialized situations where a regular 75/90 will be too thin at elevated temperatures and your diff builder has approved a heavier weight oil.

    Recommended for API GL-5, GL-6, MT-1, MIL-L-2105E, and SAE J2360. An alternative to the very expensive factory BMW SAF-XJ+FM diff fluid (#83222282583).

    This Febi replacement flex disc (aka: the guibo) is a vibration dampener mounted on the back of the transmission which connects to the driveshaft. When it has worn, it produces a terrible vibration throughout the car. It's especially noticeable at low speeds and when starting from a standstill. Oil leaking from the back of the transmission will significantly reduce its life. This can also be used as an upgrade on the E30 M3. It has much more rubber in between the bolt holes which makes it last longer. This is 5mm thicker than the stock E30 flex disc so adjustment of the 2-piece driveshaft may be required. The original flex disc bolts can be re-used.     Collapsing and worn engine mounts can mean big trouble for BMWs. The stock mounts are filled with fluid that can leak or evaporate over time. That leaves the mount unstable and too flexible to properly support the engine. The side effects of a worn engine mount are: shaking and vibrating engine, driveline twist from engine torque that can break or snap bushings, and broken motor mount arms and bolts. If you're tired of replacing engine mounts you'll be very pleased with these solid rubber versions. Not only are these more reliable than stock fluid-filled mounts, they are slightly stiffer than new stock mounts thanks to a solid rubber construction (no voids in the rubber) but designed for street use so they remain quiet and comfortable. The solid rubber has less deflection than a stock mount, so no wasted engine motion. Less wasted motion gives you more torque to the wheels (it's not spent twisting the engine) and better engine response.

    The ECS Tuning Center Support Bearing Brace is engineered to improve drivetrain performance and longevity. The factory center support bearing features internal an internal rubber bushing to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) transmission to the cabin. Unfortunately, this material choice falls short when it comes to performance applications. Under extreme load conditions, this bushing is prone to flexing, resulting in driveshaft misalignment. To address the shortcomings of the factory rubber center support carrier design, ECS engineers developed a set of precision-fit, split polyurethane bushings that secure tightly around the existing driveshaft bearing. Constructed from 30A durometer polyurethane, this material eliminates bushing deflection while maintaining minimal noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). By eliminating deflection, this innovative solution not only improves durability but also ensures a significantly longer service life than the OEM center support bearing—making it an excellent upgrade for aging BMW chassis.

    The polyurethane bushings are surrounded by a robust 6061-T6 billet aluminum bracket designed with strength and reliability in-mind. This bracket features a split design for hassle-free installation, eliminating the need to remove the driveshaft assembly entirely. To install the ECS Center Support Carrier, simply cut around your existing bearing, remove the factory brace, and clamp on your new bushings and bracket. This user-friendly approach saves time and simplifies maintenance or upgrades. Two stainless steel socket head screws are used to fasten the two-piece bracket, offering corrosion resistance and secure clamping under high torque and stress. This combination of materials and design ensures dependable performance and long-lasting durability, even in demanding applications.

    Stock mounts are made from soft rubber and are sometimes filled with fluid to give a car the most comfortable ride possible. The soft rubber and fluid helps to reduce the total amount of vibration, noise, and harshness (NVH) that is transferred into the cabin. The problem with this is driveline slop. The stock mounts allow a lot of excess movement and increases the amount of time it takes to transfer power to the wheels.

    In order to address this issue, performance mounts can be substituted to reduce the amount of slop and transfer power to the wheel quicker. Two options for this are polyurethane mounts and solid mounts.

    Solid mounts are great for an immediate transfer of power but allow for a ton of noise and vibration to be felt and heard in the cabin of the vehicle. This is great for the track where there aren't any issues with excess harshness, but as a daily driver, this can become an annoying pain in the neck.

    The best middle ground is Polyurethane. Polyurethane is much stiffer than rubber and gives you the much stiffer feel you may be looking for. This allows for the increase in responsiveness, but isn't so extreme that it transfers all of the sound and vibrations into the cabin. This makes it much more comfortable for daily use while still reinforcing your driveline.

    Urethane mounts keep the differential from twisting under load. As torque is put through the driveline it causes anything to twist and move. The differential is mounted to the subframe and the twisting and deflection can be transferred to the rest of the chassis. With a stiffer mount the differential will not deflect as much. This improves seat-of-the-pants feeling to the driver, giving more feedback for smoother power delivery. In theory, there's also more torque being sent to the drive wheels since it's not being used up shifting the diff weight around.

    These are tough 88A durometer urethane bushings with a anodized almunum center sleeve, engineered by ECS. This is a set of E36 diff bushings - 1 for the front and 2 for the rear cover. New high-grade hardware is included (the front bolt has a tendency to snap from all that torque twisting!).

    The shift lever out of the Z3 M Roadster and M Coupe is a direct replacement for the factory part. Some people use the shift lever on other models and it can reduce the shift throw by as much as 30%. The only downside to installing this on other 3 series models is that the shift is not bent like the stock 3 series part and will not be properly centered unless modified.

    Aluminum flywheels are much lighter than the stock steel flywheel and that produces better throttle response and more available horsepower to the wheels for faster acceleration. The JB Racing aluminum flywheels are a direct replacement for the stock flywheel and work with stock clutch components for an easy upgrade with very little downside.

    Modern flywheels are built with additional components and features that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. As a result they have become bloated in weight and that means more energy is used up just making the flywheel spin. The weight difference between an aluminum and steel flywheel is huge - sometimes more than 50% less. Without the additional mass, more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance.

    In addition to releasing more power to the wheels, the lighter flywheel allows the engine to spin more freely, which improves throttle response. Again, the difference is huge as you watch the revs build faster than before. With the engine spinning easier the power band comes up much sooner. The stock steel flywheel feels lazy in comparison. There is a driving adjustment required to get used to how much faster the engine revs but that's not really a downside.

    The JB lightweight flywheel is designed to be used with a factory organic clutch - the same clutch kit that you would get from any BMW dealer. This makes replacement clutch components easy to source and inexpensive when compared to specialized racing clutches. By using the factory BMW clutch, JB has also made the whole assembly easy to live with when used on the street. The clutch behaves the same as it originally did - just with better throttle response and more power! The JB flywheel can also be rebuilt with a new clutch contact surface - you don't have to buy a new flywheel.

    Aluminum flywheels are considered 'single-mass' flywheels because they do not have the same dampening designs as an original 'dual-mass' flywheel. With a single-mass design more noise and vibration may be noticeable. There are steps you can take to minimize the noise - heavier weight transmission oil and clutch discs with anti-rattle springs (sprung-hub clutch). In addition to the standard replacement clutches, we also sell Sachs Performance sprung hub clutches that also work with the JB flywheels.

    Collapsing and worn engine mounts can mean big trouble for BMWs. The stock mounts are filled with fluid that can leak or evaporate over time. That leaves the mount unstable and too flexible to properly support the engine. The side effects of a worn engine mount are: shaking and vibrating engine, driveline twist from engine torque that can break or snap bushings, and broken motor mount arms and bolts. If you're tired of replacing engine mounts you'll be very pleased wtih these solid rubber versions. Not only are these more reliable than stock fluid-filled mounts, they are slightly stiffer than new stock mounts thanks to a solid rubber construction (no voids in the rubber) but designed for street use so they remain quiet and comfortable. The solid rubber has less deflection than a stock mount, so no wasted engine and transmission motion. Less wasted motion gives you more torque to the wheels (it's not spent twisting the engine) and better shifts.

    Why is SFI testing and certification important?

    The SFI Foundation, Inc. (SFI) is a non-profit organization established to issue and administer standards for the quality assurance of specialty performance and racing equipment. SFI certification indicates a flywheel has been certified using industry-standard SFI Spec 1.1 standards by an independent testing body to ensure quality of both design and materials for flywheels utilized in competitive motorsports.

    Having successfully passed SFI certification, this flywheel has an individual SFI serial number found in a laser etching, and on an affixed sticker. This certification means the ECS-engineered flywheel is safe and reliable during the rigors of competitive racing; it's also safe and reliable for years and years of street use.
