Turner Motorsport refresh kits will not only rejuvenate the suspension in your vehicle, but improve it to better than new with select upgraded components. Symptoms of a worn suspension include a loose and imprecise feel to the steering, excessive shaking through the steering wheel, or sounds like squeaking, grinding or clunking. This kit will not only help address these issues but is designed to have superior performance compared to stock, and extend suspension life. The Turner engineering team set out to design a no-compromise solution that requires no modification and offers instantaneous cornering and braking response. Our control arm bearings utilize a unique grease-able spherical bearing that is both serviceable and replaceable, with integrated dust seals to help keep dirt and moisture out. This bearing offers considerable improvement in both precision and durability compared to other unsealed poly and delrin bushing inserts previously available, which can wear prematurely due to contamination. The bearing assembly utilizes the highest quality materials, precision machining quality, and components to ensure a perfect fit and longest lasting component life possible. These Turner rear trailing arm bushings (RTAB) now feature a much sought after sealed design. Turner recognized the popularity of their original RTAB design as well as the customer demand for this sealed upgrade, ultimately utilizing the same concept at the front control arm monoballs. A sealed design means not only that contaminants such as salt, grit, and road debris will not affect the bearing, but also means they require no lubrication or maintenance - ever! Adding strut reinforcement plates will help prevent the deformation of the strut tower and possible cracking. Upgrading the rear shock mounts and adding reinforcement plates is highly recommended because of the known failures with the mounts ripping apart. Replacing the lower trailing arm bushings with a ball joint will not only give a more solid feel in the suspension but last longer due to its rubber seal design. This mount package contains all of the commonly replaced rubber mounts and pads for the front and rear shocks on a 1999-2005 E46 3-series (not for M3 or xi AWD). While you're installing new front struts and rear shocks these are easily installed - there's no additional labor and special tools are not required. Since these pieces are mostly rubber, they dry up and crack over time. Re-using them lead to problems with fitment or noise, and may have safety issues as well. These mounts and pads are the perfect complement to your new shocks to help restore your car's handling and performance.

  • Front strut mounts (also known as the guide support)
  • Front strut reinforcement plates (to prevent cracking and deforming of the front strut towers)
  • Front and rear self-locking mounting nuts
  • Rear Lifetime Warranty 'Repair Shop' shock mounts
  • Rear shock mount reinforcements (to prevent cracking of shock towers)
  • Rear shock mount gaskets The spring pads, dust boots, and bump stops can be added from the menu below. Note that front bump stops and dust boots are generally not required if you're using Bilstein struts, Bilstein coil overs, H&R coil overs, or KW coil overs. Those struts come with their own front bump stops and boots and may include rear stops and boots as well.

    We offer three varieties of the rear shock mounts - OEM, Repair Shop, and HP alum-rubber. We recommend either the Repair Shop or HP mounts because the stock OEM design has a flaw that can lead to premature failure of the mounts. The Repair Shop and HP mounts use a different design that will last longer and the Repair Shop mounts also have a lifetime warranty!
