When we designed this catch we wanted to have the most function options available, the best separation method, and the easiest to service. The Turner engineered catch cans offer a pre-setup design based ion desired flow direction, however this does not limit you to this flow. The inner baffle orientation can be easily adjusted to flow in both directions in case you decide to move this catch can to a different vehicle. A 4 chamber system baffle system inside the catch can was engineered to create multiple changes in the direction of airflow within the separator to cause oil droplets to fall out of suspension before exiting the catch can. Having a closed / recirculated design reduces oil ingestion and promotes cleaner emissions and odor-less operation.
Our catch can was also designed with the idea that the cans fill level can easily be checked with a top mounted dipstick and an optional use bottom drain hole. The drain hole can be used with a valve and hose to be mounted at a lower area of the vehicle so when you're doing an oil change you can drain the catch can.

Whether you are looking to replace your old stock wheel lug bolts, or need longer bolts to accommodate wheel spacers or for other special considerations, our silver wheel bolts are probably what you need. They are high grade (10.9) and feature a durable bright silver finish. These are 12 x 1.5mm bolts with a 17mm head -- as used on most BMWs. Replaces BMW part numbers 36136781150 and 36131095390.
The standard length wheel bolts are for stock BMWs, and the longer length bolts are listed below (select your length with the drop down box) with the size / thickness wheel spacers they are suitable for. Longer wheel bolts are only 20 cents more than standard, and are available in lengths to work with spacers up to 20mm thick. Please select your desired length below (default is the standard/stock BMW length bolt).

The factory rubber/plastic hoses become brittle and crack over time. Brittle and cracked hoses can cause multiple vacuum leaks that are impossible to repair without hose replacement. Vacuum leaks can cause many problems including rough running, missing, stalling at idle, and even a no-start condition. The factory hoses offered through BMW are plastic and will yield the same results of becoming brittle and damaged over time.
We have created a full motorsport style solution with our CSL Crankcase made from machined 6061 billet aluminum with AN style fittings and nylon fiber braided lines. This is a fully serviceable replacement that will outlast every one of the OEM replacements. Our AN crankcase line can be used to replace the factory brittle hose to ensure your S54 is free from vacuum leaks and performing properly.

Rocker arms wear in conjunction with the camshafts, meaning the two must be replaced simultaneously. For dozens of years, enthusiasts have critiqued the imprecise and vague feeling of BMW manual transmissions. Plagued with long throws, fore and aft play in gear, and a generally loose feeling, your OEM BMW shifter leaves much to be desired. While most standard carrier-mount short throw shifter kits will aid in reducing throw length and eliminating side-to-side play in gear, some enthusiasts long for a hardcore, race-inspired shifter that completely removes play and excessive throw length. At Turner Motorsport we share the same desire and set out to offer the ULTIMATE upgrade with this Performance Chassis Mount Short Shifter.
WHY UPGRADE?
Factory BMW shifter assemblies are complex by nature. The main component of this assembly is the shift carrier, a cast aluminum piece positioned inside the transmission tunnel that incorporates bushings at both ends for mounting. Like most factory parts, these bushings are designed to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) transmission to the cabin. To the spirited driver, however, these bushings translate to flex and vagueness in the shift lever. Moreover, because this carrier is mounted to both the transmission and the body, the entire shifter assembly will "float" with the driveline, further increasing the vague and imprecise feeling of your shifter.
Our Performance Chassis Mount Short Shifter removes the shift carrier assembly entirely—removing any prospect of flex caused by bushings or driveline movement. By contrast, this chassis mount shifter offers a drastic reduction in shift lever travel, vagueness, and side-to-side play. An elevated base allows for moving the fulcrum point upwards, resulting in a much shorter and more precise throw. Shift times are further reduced by a tall, "rally style" shift lever, used to aid in leverage while also bringing the lever closer to the steering wheel. Our design incorporates a proprietary centering spring design, which is adjustable for increasing or decreasing self-centering force. In short, this design eliminates all the drawbacks of your factory BMW shifter, translating to more control, greater precision, shorter throws, and faster shift times.

The BMW E46 3-Series chassis is one of the most rigid and well built BMW chassis to date. Even so, it still has some of the traditional BMW weak points. One of these is the rear sway bar / swaybar mounts. From chassis to chassis the problem has not been identical, but all the damage we have seen has been related to metal fatigue. The metal fatigue is due to the constant twisting and side loading of the sway bar. These forces on the sway bar will cause the mounting points to fail over time. The failure can happen faster with sway bar bind due to improper maintenance of the bushings. However, proper sway bar bushing maintenance does not totally eliminate the problem. In the case of the E46 the sheet metal for the bushing bracket does not have enough material to support the loads being transferred to the subframe. The motor mount area on a subframe is one of those easily-forgotton areas that may be hiding a serious problem. The subframe on the E46 has a gusset ('ear') welded on for the motor mounts. These gussets take the stress of the motor mount as the engine torques (more upgrades = more torque = more stress). Worn motor mounts only transfer more stress to the subframe. Unfortunately, the sheetmetal will fatigue over time even though the gusset is reinforced from the factory. Check for cracks along the welds and an uneven plane from the subframe to the gusset. A total failure of the guesset will shift your engine to the side and forward, taking out many other components along the way and leading to a very costly repair.

Wheel studs are among the safest and beneficial upgrades you can make on a track car. Not only are wheel studs safer than wheel bolts but they make changing wheels/tires much easier. One of the frustrating things about installing your wheels on the hub is that it's difficult to line up the wheel on the bolt holes. As wheels get larger but also heavier it's even more trouble. Add in a wheel spacer and the task is twice as hard. BMW does produce a wheel alignment pin for this purpose but if you're changing wheels often a stud conversion is the better way to go. With studs you won't have to worry about dropping your expensive wheels onto the brake rotor.
