A sloppy shifter is one of the common complaints of older BMWs. In addition to the shifter linkage the transmission mounts contribute to rough and clunky shifting. BMW transmission mounts are rubber and get softer over time. This allows the transmission to dance around which changes the geometry of the shift linkage and could make it harder to shift. These urethane transmission bushings are stiffer than the stock rubber mounts and won't let the transmission shift around as much. The round design also has more surface area than the stock mounts which helps spread the load. Because the urethane is stiffer, expect more vibration to make its way into the shift lever area. Engine motor mounts should also be considered as a cause for driveline vibration, transmission movement, and poor shifting. Consider replacing your motor mounts at the same time as your tranny mounts.

The E46 M3 is an amazing looking car right out of the box but a common BMW issue is the height of the front vs rear bumpers. As far back as the E30, the front bumper is much lower than the rear bumper and the E46 M3 faces the same issue. With this problem the front bumper is always super low to the ground and the rear bumper looks in-complete. The ECS add-on diffuser is a unique option for balancing out the rear bumper with the height of the front bumper for a full and complete look.

For the factory replacements ECS focus was to take the oem characteristics and add a twist and really bring out a more aggressive look with a direct replacement diffuser. For their new line of diffusers, us as car enthusiasts wanted to design a set of diffusers that really pushed the envelope and stepped outside of our comfort zone. Our new line of add-on diffusers is a result of our engineering team and fellow enthusiasts spending time study the M3 chassis, modeling different designs, testing prototypes and making changes to get a final product that we are extremely excited to offer. Unsure of what size spacer will work best for you? This professional kit includes 1mm, 2.5mm, 5mm, 10mm, and 15mm spacers with wheel studs and nuts for you play with. These are not the same spacers that we sell and they cannot be used to drive on. But with the studs installed the car can be lowered to the ground and rolled to check for clearances. These test fit spacers are drilled to fit the standard BMW 5x120 bolt pattern as well as 4-lug 4x100 (and VW/Audi bolt patterns too). You can stack spacers to achieve the perfect clearance. When you're ready call us to order the spacers you need (Turner spacers come in 3mm, 5mm, 7.5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm spacer thicknesses).

These spacers are not for driving on. They lack the hubcentric lip that BMW wheels are designed to work with. Driving on studs alone will lead to a failure.

E46 323/325/328/330i 2-way adjustable 27mm front sway bar with urethane bushings.

Sway bars are typically sold as a front and rear set to balance the handling. But a front sway bar only can also have excellent benefits, especially on a street car. Going with a larger front bar will improve steering and handling even at low-moderate speeds. Steering turn-in is faster and gives the car a more direct and responsive feel. Cars with staggered wheel fitments (a narrower front wheel compared to the rear) will especially benefit from this and help the front tire 'bite' into the road. 

ECS has specified an adjustable 27mm sway bar that has been fine-tuned for use on the E46 non-M models. Urethane bushings with a reinforced inner core that requires no lubrication are included.

With the factory intake you are limited to a finite amount of air, this leaves your engine under-served and limits induction noise. When it comes to the recipe for upgrading your E46 there are a few ingredients that you must have, power and sound. While you can add an exhaust for a bit more power and sound, the biggest difference you can make is adding power and sound under your hood with a high-flow intake.
