This BladeRunner Intercooler represents the next generation of intercoolers. Designed specifically for the 2012-2016 BMW 328i (F3X) 12-16 L4-2.0L (t) with the N20 engine, this BladeRunner intercooler utilizes a 5" bar and plate core design. This design outflows the factory tube and fin core design, while the 3/16" TIG-Welded end tanks offer superior strength and durability. In testing, this intercooler showed flow gains up to 21% and lowered the intake air temperatures.

End Tanks: 
The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16" thick aluminum plates and include two 1/8" NPT ports for sensors or water-methanol injection.

5" Bar and Plate Core Design:
The use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the factory.

TIG-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded inside and out by a certified craftsmen for strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds while reducing stress cracks.

Pressure Tested: 
The BladeRunner Intercooler is test pressure rated at 200psi.

Cold Side Tube:
Constructed of 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and powder-coated wrinkle-black for heat and corrosion resistance. The smooth transition mandrel bends decrease turbulence which increases horsepower and torque. The high-temp wrinkle-black powder-coating insulates the tube from engine heat and protects the tube from corrosion. Includes stainless steel clamps for a leak-free seal and heavy-duty 5-Ply reinforced silicone coupling for strength.

Perfect Fit:
Utilizes the factory mounting locations for a hassle-free installation. The intercooler and tubes utilize billet factory style quick connects to assure a leak-free connection.

The aFe MACH Force-Xp cat-back exhaust system for the BMW N55 exceeds your quality and performance expectations.  3"- 2-1/2" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing and high flow transverse muffler offers maximum exhaust flow and incorporates a factory style exhaust valve to control the exhaust note. The valve utilizes the factory valve motor and factory performance modes. When closed, it directs the exhaust through the high flow muffler for a smooth, tuned exhaust note. When opened, the exhaust is allowed to bypass the muffler and unleash the sound and performance of your N55. Large 4" diameter gloss black stainless steel exhaust tips come with a laser-etched aFe POWER logo for a stylish finish.

304 Stainless Steel Construction:
3" into 2-1/2" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance, durability and overall breath-taking appearance.

High-Flow Performance Muffler:
Featuring a corrosion resistant high temp. metallic black powder-coat this high flow, transverse stainless steel muffler improves sound and performance gains across the power band.

Dual 4" Gloss Black Tips:
Finishing off this system are dual 4" diameter, gloss black, stainless steel exhaust tips. The tips come with a laser-etched aFe power logo for a custom, stylish finish.

Exhaust Valve:
Incorporated is a factory style exhaust valve which uses the factory exhaust valve motor (not included). The valve helps regulate, direct and control the flow of exhaust gases by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways depending on throttle position and factory performance mode for maximum performance.

Resonator Delete Pipe:
An optional resonator delete pipe is compatible with this exhaust system (not included, sold separately) aFe part number: 49-36622 (No cutting or fabrication required).

TIG-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability.

Hassle-Free Installation:
This exhaust system is designed to be a true bolt on system with no cutting or modifications required. Quality hardware is included for a hassle-free installation.
