The N55 intake system is a perfect example of Eventuri's “Complete System” principal. It demonstrates the perfect balance between allowing for unrestricted airflow with an open filter housing and cold air saturation with proprietary scoop and duct combination. Every detail has been meticulously developed from the prepreg carbon pieces to the precision bracket work. This intake sets a new benchmark in design and craftsmanship for the N55 platform. 

The Eventuri system uses a Patent Pending Carbon fibre Housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect.

The filter housing comprises of a high flow filter, aluminium cowl, laser cut bracket and the carbon pod itself. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the intake tube. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack.

APEX ARC-8 18" Staggered Wheel Set -- 18x8.5" / 18x9.5"

This set of 8.5" and 9.5" ARC-8 wheels is an easy staggered fitment for the E46 M3 and Z4M models. These are a direct fit with no spacers or fender rolling required. We use an 8.5" ET38 on the front and a 9.5" ET22 on the rear. These are only slightly wider than the stock sizes. The rear wheels have a deeper concave face than the fronts, emphasizing the RWD chassis and adding some muscularity to the stance.

APEX light alloy wheels are the next evolution in flow-forged wheel technology for BMWs. Flow-forming is a semi-forging process that produces a wheel typically stronger than a traditional cast wheel yet is still light weight. The wheels are around 10lbs lighter per wheel than a comparable factory wheel! That's reduced unsprung weight that improves all aspects of performance. The spokes and barrel have been designed to allow generous clearance for big brakes. In other words, these wheels are very impressively engineered and look great too! aFe has engineered the Momentum GT intake to outperform the stock air box and deliver substantial power and torque gains over the factory system. The B58 3.0L Turbo benefits from aFe's oversized cotton filter element in a Rotomold plastic housing that blocks heat saturated air while flowing more volume of cooler dense air. The system has been CAD designed to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo. The intake tube is a smooth, unobstructed single piece from the air inlet to the airbox and incorporates a port for the air flow sensor. aFe's advanced engineering and design have made this a direct bolt-in intake upgrade.

The aFe filter has been designed specifically for this application and uses aFe's high flow/low maintenance design. The ProDry S filter has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe Pro5R filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter media), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.
