The Hawk DTC (Dynamic Torque Control) compound offers the highest friction coefficient of any Hawk pad. The DTC pads offer extremely high torque with aggressive controllable initial bite, superior release and torque control characteristics. These DTC-60 pads have less torque than the similar DTC-70 pads.

These REAR rotors fit F30 328iX/335i/335iX and F32 428iX/435i/435iX models with the optional M Sport Brakes upgrade (option code S2NHA). These rotors are larger than what came on the base, Luxury, Modern, Sport, and M Sport trim packages. The dead giveaway whether or not you have the M Sport option is the rear caliper - the S2NHA option added 2-piston Brembo calipers on the rear while all of the brakes were a standard single piston caliper.

These rotors are the original rear M Sport brakes for the 228/328/428 as well as the 335/435. These are a blank rotor design (no dimples or slots). But they are larger than the standard brake rotors to help in braking performance, especially when driven hard.

N26 engine: the rear rotors were different on the F33 428 convertible based on which engine the car has. N20 is the ULEV engine; N26 is the SULEV low emissions engine. The emissions sticker under the hood will be labeled ULEV or SULEV.

This is a pair (2) of Genuine BMW FRONT brake rotors/discs (370x30mm) for all F30, F31 F32 F33 and F34 models with either the BMW M Performance brakes or 335/435 with the optional M Sport brakes upgrade. These rotors are dimpled and slotted to improve brake pad feel and give the brakes a sportier and more aggressive look. In addition, they are larger that the standard brake rotors to help in braking performance. These are not a direct replacement for the stock brakes and will only work with the M Performance or optional M Sport brake upgrade.

The M Performance brakes were a dealer-installed accessory that could have been ordered new or installed after the car was delivered. M Performance brakes were larger than stock and had a colored brake caliper (red, yellow, or orange). The M Sport 335/435 optional brakes (option code S2NH or S2NHA) were available as an additional option on top of the M Sport trim package but could also be ordered on their own. They featured the same size brakes as the M Performance accessory but with either blue or unfinished grey calipers. Note that only the 335 and 435 M Sport upgrade used 370mm rotors; the 328i/428i M Sport option used a 340mm rotor. Strong stopping power - Increased coefficient of friction offers satisfying stopping power when cold (a necessity for a street pad!) and even more G-force-inducing power when they warm up. With cold and warm friction comparable to Hawk HPS (and higher than many other street pads) the stopping experience with the EP24 pad is impressive for street-driven vehicles on streetable tires. Positive initial bite - Race pads have the reputation of acting like an on/off switch, which is a no-go for a pad for a street application. The EP24 offers OE-level initial bite for low-stress braking in stop-and-go situations. Reasonable dust - Race pads utilize a high metallic composition. Pads that use high amounts of metal not only dust terribly, but also will bake onto wheels with high temperatures and are a bear to clean. This is not the case with these performance street pads. Now using these pads on most of our shop cars, we’ve found over time that dust is comparable to factory pads in most applications (with greatly improved braking performance). Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. While not as quiet as our ceramic DD23 pad, you’ll still be able to drive your spouse to dinner. Long life - This should be an obvious one. Even in a performance pad, your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. This compound wears slower and is kinder to rotors than two of the top competitors.

Cool Carbon S/T brake pads have excellent stopping power and feel with low levels of dust and noise. Engineered for European cars with high speed development on the Autobahn, Cool Carbon is a sporty compound intended for every day use. The S/T compound has more stopping power and initial bite than stock thanks to a higher coefficient of friction and composite materials. We are big fans of these as a sporty street pad and recommend them for medium-aggressive street driving and autocross.
