Wheel studs are among the safest and most beneficial upgrades you can make on a track car. Not only are wheel studs safer than wheel bolts but they make changing wheels/tires much easier. One of the frustrating things about installing your wheels on the hub is that it's difficult to line up the wheel on the bolt holes. As wheels get larger but also heavier it's even more trouble. Add in a wheel spacer and the task is twice as hard. BMW does produce a wheel alignment pin for this purpose but if you're changing wheels often a stud conversion is the better way to go. Our original bullet nose studs are available in 78mm and 90mm overall lengths. The 78mm works great for cars that do not use a spacer (or a spacer smaller than 15mm). We recommend the 90mm length for cars that have a spacer larger than 15mm. These studs come with a black magnesium phosphate coating for excellent corrosion resistance. These studs are perfect for dual-purpose street/track cars. The studs are stronger and safer than wheel bolts and have a barrier against corrosion which makes them suitable for street use. For a dedicated race or track car, where wheel changes or pit stops are more frequent, check out our racing dry lube studs. Our studs are also designed and manufactured with the properly sized shank to work with a wider range of BMW wheel, nut, and brake rotor combinations. We intentionally avoid the extra large shoulders you see on other studs because they can interfere with some brake rotor hats. The extra-large shoulder can be too large to allow the rotor to pass through and drilling out the holes is required (not cool!) Our studs have the sufficient shank for the brake rotor without interfering.

Our polyester tow strap is far and above the best tow strap available for the modern BMW chassis. We use a heavy-duty, chemical-resistant polyester strap webbed around a stainless steel stud. There is plenty of length available for tow hooks to grab onto without hitting your bumper and damaging paint or causing cracks. The precision-cut stud is fits E30 (89+), E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, and Z4. We have further refined the shape and size of the bolt so that spoiler modifications are kept to a minimum. Note that on some models you may need to modify the bumper slightly for the best fit.

A tow strap is a better pickup point than a fixed steel ring, which will add weight and protrude past the bumper. Some racing series have banned the steel rings because they increase the likelihood of contact during close racing. Our straps are sold in bright red, bright blue, or black (red suggested for racing use as it makes it easy for tow truck operators and safety crews to spot). On some models, the strap may be tucked behind the bumper panel when not on track, which makes this perfect for dual-use track/street cars and full racecars alike. Priced per strap so order two for the front and rear.

When we designed this catch we wanted to have the most function options available, the best separation method, and the easiest to service. The Turner engineered catch cans offer a pre-setup design based ion desired flow direction, however, this does not limit you to this flow. The inner baffle orientation can be easily adjusted to flow in both directions in case you decide to move this catch can to a different vehicle. A 4 chamber system baffle system inside the catch can was engineered to create multiple changes in the direction of airflow within the separator to cause oil droplets to fall out of suspension before exiting the catch can. Having a closed/recirculated design reduces oil ingestion and promotes cleaner emissions and odor-less operation.

These aluminum pedals were designed with one thing in mind -- performance. We wanted a pedal set that gave us the grip EXACTLY where we wanted it: MASSIVE GRIP on the brake and clutch pedals, and far less grip on the accelerator to allow the right foot to better slide/move during heal-toe braking. This set surpasses all others in this area, giving your BMW's foot operated controls a more tactile feel and response. The brake and clutch pedals feature pyramid shaped spikes, which actually BITE the soles of your shoes PERFECTLY, creating the ultimate (and unbeatable) friction surface.

These pedals are 100% MADE IN THE USA, and are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminum billet to perfectly fit your BMW. There's no rubber to wear out, and no cosmetic finishes to chip or flake off. Stainless steel hardware is included, as well as a basic installation guide (professional installation always recommended). These pedals are for left-hand drive (LHD), manual transmission BMWs only (including SMG and DCT sequential manual gearboxes -- on these cars, you will only use one of the included clutch/brake sized pedals). Please note on E36 convertible models (1994-1999) the optional footrest requires modification.

Now available in (optional) black anodized! The same shoe-gripping performance as our standard "naked" aluminum racing pedals, but with an added black anodized coating, for a stealth black finish. We always recommend the naked metal pedals for harsher/race type use, as all cosmetic finishes will eventually degrade over time. But for those looking for the black-out look, we can now accommodate! To add this option, simply choose your selection below.

There is plenty of length available for tow hooks to grab onto without hitting your bumper and damaging paint or causing cracks. The precision-cut stud is fits E30 (89+), E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, and Z4. We have further refined the shape and size of the bolt so that spoiler modifications are kept to a minimum. Give your factory clutch a heavier motorsport feel or make your extremely tough clutch more drivable! If you have an E36 there is absolutely no reason you don't have this clutch pedal! Your factory E36 clutch pedal is made of flimsy plastic with no adjustment at all, leaving you to the mercy of the clutch you have.

Our Turner Performance Adjustable Clutch Pedal is a rigid design that gives you the ability to fully adjust your clutch feel and performance. With both upper and lower adjustments this is the best pedal on the market to fine tune your clutch pedal just the way you like it. The upper eccentric provides an adjustable pedal ratio to fine tune clutch pedal effort(how heavy the pedal feels). The lower adjustment is to change the position of the clutch assist spring, this allows you to choose where the clutch assisting spring engages. Changing where the spring engages will move the area of tension on your clutch from lower, middle to higher for maximum adjustment.

Your race car no longer needs to have a clutch that makes the car undriveable on the street. Your track car can now be your daily driver or weekend cruiser.

Hub Extenders are the solution that no one else has! BMW wheels must fit on a hubcentric lip to be securely (and safely) mounted to the hub. But with a 3, 5, 8, or some 10mm spacers on a lip measuring no more than 11mm that presented a huge problem - there would be no lip left over for the wheel to rest on! As one of the world's leading BMW tuners and race teams, we came up with a way to extend the lip and get back the lost surface area for the wheel to safely mount on. Our Hub Extenders are the first of their kind.

Hub Extenders fit where the stock dust cap is usually fitted on the front wheel hub. Pop out the dust cap and tap the Hub Extender into its place. It becomes an extension of the original lip. These will only work on the front hubs of the cars listed below because the rear hub is tapered inside (narrows down). These will not work with Xi AWD models because the front axle shaft protrudes through the hub. With Hub Extenders in place you can use nearly any flat wheel spacer - 3mm, 5mm, 7.5mm, 10mm, or possibly more without worrying that the wheel will not be securely seated. This is perfect for wheels that have chamfers on the back of the wheel that don't match up to existing spacers (Kosei K1 spacers for example).

Wheel Limitations. Special consideration needs to be taken since wheel design and manufacture differ from brand to brand. The key dimension is the dept of the center bore. Some wheels won't work with larger spacers and a Hub Extender because of the additional protrusion into the center bore. Please measure your wheel to make sure it can accommodate an extra 2.5-5mm of hub extending into the center bore. Click here for a diagram.

Hub Limitations. BMW has multiple hub designs but not all are compatible with our Hub Extenders. The inside lip of the hub must be flat and smooth for at least 13mm (the depth our Extender fits into the hub). Some BMW hubs have a bowl shape or have tapered inside walls which will prevent the Hub Extender from seating all the way. Remove the hub dust cap to check before opening your Turner Hub Extenders.

When it comes to control arms on the track, making them as stiff as you can (usually using solid mounts) is the best way to increase your driving precision by eliminating the deflection of rubber. The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers.

When it comes to the E36 chassis you also get the options of choosing a stock centered design or going with the E30 inspired offset bushing to increase castor, further taking advantage of improvd handling. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.

This kit includes everything to fit an OBDI M50 manifold to an OBDII M52 or S52 engine (1996-1999). It takes the guesswork out of adding the M50 manifold to your engine. The kit includes a CNC machined adapter, with all hardware and gaskets, that allows the freer flowing M50 manifold to be installed while maintaining full function of M52/S52 components including factory PCV cyclone / oil seperator valve. No vacuum leaks, no check engine lights. And the entire kit is completely reversible. Turner Motorsport has dealt with the problems from other kits and this adapter block is by far the best solution.

The base price of this kit does not include the M50 manifold. You can pick up a used manifold from a 1992-1995 E36 325i or a 1995 M3 3.0 liter. You can find them in local junk or scrap yards, online at Craigslist or eBay, or from various forums. If you would rather not deal with the potential pitfalls of a used part, we can offer a new Original BMW manifold to go with the adapter. While expensive, the new manifold is guaranteed to be in perfect condition with no cracks, warping, or foreign objects hidden inside. A new factory BMW manifold can be added to your order by selecting the option above.

With the introduction of the 1996 model year came the OBDII emissions compliant engine. Among the many changes the OBDII engines received was a more restrictive air intake manifold. Where the older M50/S50 engines continued to make power up in the higher RPMs, the newer M52/S52 ran out of breath, limiting high-end horsepower, but boosting low-end torque. Converting the OBDII cars to the 1995 and earlier OBDI manifold is a popular modification to remove this high-rpm restriction.

To best maximize the horsepower gains of this modification, you should be using the M50 manifold with bigger cams, HFM, injectors, and software. We have found this combination of upgrades and software to yield the best results for producing top-end power. Note: using the M50 manifold shifts the power band higher in the RPM range. This is GREAT for track cars but not well-suited for street cars where the OBDII manifold works best to produce torque at lower RPM. Presently, we do not have software tuned for only the M50 manifold without cams or the HFM upgrade. Check our website again for future product releases. We currently offer custom mapped Shark Injectors for these packages:
E36 M3 - 3.5" HFM/24lb injectors/Schrick cams/stock OBDII manifold
E36 M3 - 3.5" HFM/24lb injectors/Schrick cams/M50 manifold

Optional fuel rail cover. The standard M52/S52 fuel rail cover is too tall for the M50 manifold and does not have the proper brackets for securing it in place over the fuel rail. We can correctly modify the stock M52 fuel rail cover for you to complete the factory appearance.

Underdrive Power Pulleys work to 'free up' horsepower. Any accessory that spins from the main drive belt is using up power. That's power that could otherwise be used to move the car. By giving some of that power back to the engine, you can make the car faster! It's like FREE HORSEPOWER !

Underdrive pulleys for your BMW will slow down engine-mounted accessories - the water pump, power steering pump, and alternator*. These systems contribute to 'parasitic losses' - power lost from what the engine could produce if it did not have these systems. Since less energy is used to move them, that power is transferred back to the engine and used to propel the car. Our pulleys give a 10-20% reduction in rotation, releasing 10hp on the E46 M3. There's also a small but noticeable improvement in throttle response too! We have done extensive testing and development work, both on and off the track, to ensure that the accessory systems function as they should. On our Racing pulley kits we actually underdrive certain components more so we feel our Street pulleys are an ideal compromise between power/torque gains, reliability, and system performance. Our pulley kits have been on the market for over ten years, and used in all of our own cars, with zero component failures related to their use.

Our pulleys are made from T-6061 aluminum and finished in a durable black hard anodize that is very resistant to wear, chemical exposure, and heat. We designed our pulleys to look similar to the factory parts but also to be stronger and, in most cases, slightly lighter too. For example, a Turner alternator pulley is less than half the weight of the stock steel pulley! With our hardcoat aluminum you will never have to worry about a serious failure of a stock plastic pulley. A 'stealth' approach to aesthetics was our goal and we let the results speak for the pulley design. Installation is straight forward and easy with simple hand tools. Removal of the fan is required for access to the front of the engine. Total install time for a 3-piece pulley set should be around 1.5 hours. A new longer belt is included and we also recommend replacing the separate A/C belt, belt tensioners, and the guide and deflection pulleys at the same time.

* Alternator Pulley Options
Stereo Systems. We offer our kits in two different ways: the full Power Pulley Kit with all 3 pulleys or a 2 pulley kit if you do not wish to underdrive your alternator (for large stereo systems or other battery-draining modifications). Our kits have been tested for compatability with the factory premium stereo systems (Harmon Kardon, etc). But any major alterations or upgrades from the factory system will work best with our 2 pulley kit and no underdriving of the alternator. For all stock stereo systems the 3 pulley set is recommended because the Turner alternator pulley will help make more power and is also much lighter than the stock pulley.

Our renowned TMS adjustable front sway bar / swaybar links for BMWs are now available in custom lengths, making them easy to order for any aftermarket or custom suspension setups. Simply measure for your ideal link length, and order the links with the best length range (below). Each sway bar link has a 10mm diameter mounting pin/stud, which is the typical factory/stock size for a universal fitment. These are sold by the pair, and each set includes two matching sway bar end links.

These end links offer the quiet operation and long life of "stock" BMW end links, but with the strength and adjustability of rod-end style sway bar links. These sway bar links can be used on a wide variety of BMWs and aftermarket BMW suspensions. When measuring, please consider that the length ranges of our Custom Adjustable end links are measured from the center to center on the end link mounting stud / pin, as shown in our diagram.

Note for E9X M3: the unique mounting on the M3 strut requires a set of our adapter seats (#TSU9912AF9). You can add them with your links from the menu below.

For example, a Turner alternator pulley is less than half the weight of the stock steel pulley! With our hardcoat aluminum you will never have to worry about a serious failure of a stock plastic pulley. A 'stealth' approach to aesthetics was our goal and we let the results speak for the pulley design. Installation is straight forward and easy with simple hand tools. Removal of the fan is required for access to the front of the engine. Total install time for a 3-piece pulley set should be around 1.5 hours. A new longer belt is included and we also recommend replacing the separate A/C belt, belt tensioners, and the guide and deflection pulleys at the same time.

Bosch or Valeo? BMW built your car with either a Bosch or Valeo brand alternator. Unfortunately, the pulley is not the same for both brands. The brand is usually printed on the black plastic cover of the alternator but may be facing the frame rail or the ground. If you know which brand you have, select your option below and we'll send you the correct alternator pulley for your BMW. Don't know which you have? NO PROBLEM! We can send you both. The 2nd pulley costs $40 but you will receive a refund once we get the un-used pulley back (return shipping not included).
Aftermarket Stereo Systems

We offer our kits in two different ways: the full Power Pulley Kit with all 3 pulleys or a 2 pulley kit if you do not wish to underdrive your alternator (for large stereo systems or other battery-draining modifications). Our kits have been tested for compatability with the factory premium stereo systems (Harmon Kardon, etc). But any major alterations or upgrades from the factory system will work best with our 2 pulley kit and no underdriving of the alternator. For all stock stereo systems the 3 pulley set is recommended because the Turner alternator pulley will help make more power and is also much lighter than the stock pulley.

Our polyester tow strap is far and above the best tow strap available for the modern BMW chassis. We use a heavy-duty, chemical-resistant polyester strap webbed around a stainless steel stud. There is plenty of length available for tow hooks to grab onto without hitting your bumper and damaging paint or causing cracks. The precision-cut stud is fits E30 (89+), E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, and Z4. We have further refined the shape and size of the bolt so that spoiler modifications are kept to a minimum. Note that on some models you may need to modify the bumper slightly for the best fit.

A tow strap is a better pickup point than a fixed steel ring, which will add weight and protrude past the bumper. Some racing series have banned the steel rings because they increase the likelihood of contact during close racing. Our straps are sold in bright red, bright blue, or black (red suggested for racing use as it makes it easy for tow truck operators and safety crews to spot). On some models, the strap may be tucked behind the bumper panel when not on track, which makes this perfect for dual-use track/street cars and full racecars alike. Priced per strap so order two for the front and rear.

All vehicles will lose some degree of performance due to heat soak under the right operating conditions.  Engine management systems constantly monitor operating conditions and modifying parameters based on sensor inputs. BMW integrated the intake air temp sensor in the MAF housing on models such as the E39 M5, and, being sandwiched behind a hot radiator and in some applications next to an even hotter valve cover, this is less than ideal for performance applications. Absorbing excess heat from its surroundings, the MAF can’t shed it fast enough, and the ECU reads an inaccurately high intake air temperature. Compensating for this false hot air measurement, the ECU pulls timing and runs a richer fuel mixture, resulting in a significant loss of torque.

What can you do?  Locate an intake air temp sensor in a location where it can properly measure incoming air temps and where it's less prone to heat soak. Mounting the sensor further away from the heat source and isolating it from the MAF housing, it can both resist the effects of heat soak longer and respond to temperature changes more quickly.  The result is you’ll experience reduced torque loss and more consistent power output when you’re pushing your engine hard. 

The Turner engineering team was initially skeptical of the claimed performance benefits of this modification. They first set out validate the functionality and performance benefit of a temp sensor relocation. Replicating stop-and-go traffic heat soak in a 2001 540i was a simple task in a controlled environment - their dynometer. First the car was heat soaked to simulate being stuck in traffic or moving at low speeds by running the car four times on the dyno with the dyno's cooling fans disabled. The fans were then turned on for three more runs to observe the recovery rate once air flow was reintroduced. The test: following this procedure once with a stock IAT, and once with their relocation kit in place. 

The result? Turner recovered 11lb-ft torque at 2500rpm through use of their relocation kit, with even greater recovery to be found for M5 owners. Here are the heat soak-related torque losses Turner experienced:

The Turner engineering team designed a complete plug and play kit (unlike all other options on the market) that makes for quick, easy, and reversible installation. Weather-sealed connectors keep out the elements, while sheathed wiring offers a clean appearance underhood. With a harness nearly 3 feet long - the Turner IAT relocation kit offers flexibility in positioning, but not too long that you're left with unsightly excess wiring. Turner recommends positioning the sensor in a location away from engine heat, but still within the intake ducting to achieve accurate intake temp readings - such as the far side of the base of the airbox. Vehicles with cold air intakes with cone-style filters can even position the sensor in the end of the filter. Simply drill a hole in your (cool) location of choice and plug in the harness. Each unit is precision-ground for consistent clearances and smooth, stable valvetrain motion at all RPMs. Despite heavy-duty construction, our design retains the same weight as the factory rocker arm, preserving OE valvetrain geometry and balance while offering superior longevity and performance.

Rocker arms wear in conjunction with the camshafts, meaning the two must be replaced simultaneously. Aftermarket and performance camshaft options (Schrick, CAT-Cams, etc.) are typically ground from softer blanks and, as a result, cannot be used with factory rocker arms. We tested our performance cam followers with aftermarket camshafts to validate compatibility, ensuring smooth, reliable, and safe operation under demanding conditions.
