Here at Turner we understand the importance of an upgrade that will get the results you need on the track and still be tolerable on the drive around town. When it comes to control arms on the track, making them as stiff as you can (usually using solid mounts) is the best way to increase your driving precision by eliminating the deflection of rubber. The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers.
When it comes to the E36 chassis you also get the options of choosing a stock centered design or going with the E30 inspired offset bushing to increase castor, further taking advantage of improvd handling. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.

By the early 1990s, BMW had phased out its canister-style ignition coil in favor of an individual coil-on-plug system. The venerable M50 was one of the first engines to receive this update, which boasts greater overall efficiency through increased ignition control and spark energy. Unfortunately, over two decades later, the ignition coils used on the M50, M52, S50, and S52 engines are antiquated at best. Our team of engineers and BMW enthusiasts realized the need for an ignition system upgrade and set out to modernize the M5X ignition system with performance ignition coils pulled from the B58 parts bin.

Lowering your BMW does wonders for appearance and handling, but it also changes suspension geometry in ways that can hurt performance. As ride height changes, angles between the sway bar, control arms, and axles shift, which can cause binding, poor fitment, and added stress on the factory fixed-length end links. This is especially noticeable on cars equipped with coilover suspension, where slight height differences side to side can preload the sway bar and lead to inconsistent handling.
Our team of dedicated BMW enthusiasts set out to remedy this common issue with a set of Adjustable Rear Sway Bar End Links. Designed with performance in mind, they offer a fully adjustable range from 100mm to 120mm, helping eliminate preload, restore proper suspension alignment, and improve overall sway bar function. If allowed in the rules these solid aluminum engine and transmission mounts offer many advantages over a urethane or Delrin mounts. It's no wonder that these mounts have found their way into the top BMW racers in the country. We originally developed these mounts for E36 and E46 World Challenge racing but they also work perfect in BMW Modified and SCCA club racing and SpecE46 (SE46). These are machined from solid aluminum and have zero deflection. The engine torque will cause a rubber or urethane mount to flex or deflect. The stiffer the material the less movement there is and the more torque is passed through the driveline (instead of being wasted winding up the mount). At the transmission end the flex-free solid mounts will give smoother, crisper shifts since the transmission is no longer dancing on the pliable mount. This puts the shift linkages in better consistent alignment. And unlike rubber or urethane the aluminum has zero wear and is not affected by leaking oil or other fluids so this is likely the last set of motor and transmission mounts you will ever need. We have designed these mounts so the engine is 5mm lower and the transmission is 1mm lower than the factory mounts. This helps lower the center of gravity for better balance and handling. We very strongly recommend using the transmission and engine mounts together as a complete kit. Mixing a rubber mount with a metal mount will cause undue stress on the mouting points and will lead to a failure. We never advise using a solid mount unless a corresponding solid mount is also used. This kit fits the E36, E46, Z3, and Z4 6 cylinder models listed below, including M3 models.

Wheel studs are among the safest and most beneficial upgrades you can make on a track car. Not only are wheel studs safer than wheel bolts but they make changing wheels/tires much easier. One of the frustrating things about installing your wheels on the hub is that it's difficult to line up the wheel on the bolt holes. As wheels get larger but also heavier it's even more trouble. Add in a wheel spacer and the task is twice as hard. BMW does produce a wheel alignment pin for this purpose but if you're changing wheels often a stud conversion is the better way to go.
These wheel studs are the same as our hugely popular Bullet Nose studs but with threads along the full length of the stud. This gives you more threaded area for tightening wheel nuts or allows the use of a closed-end wheel nut. These also have a more OEM appearance. Although these are a lower cost version of our Bullet Nose studs, they are every bit as strong, durable, and safe. The Bullet Nose is an upgrade because it's easier to install and almost impossible to cross-thread a nut.
Not all wheel studs are created equal. We don't take a manufacturer's generic wheel stud from their catalog and call it our own. Turner Wheel Studs are designed to our own specifications and manufactured for us exclusively. Beware of cheaper studs on the market! We have seen other studs similar to our own designs that are not a true BMW fitment. There are differences that we have ironed out over our years of selling wheel studs for the BMW market. Our stud prices may be slightly higher than the rock bottom prices on the web but we promise that it's a higher quality.

By popular demand, our shoe-gripping Turner Motorsport pedal set is now available for E36 3 series with automatic transmission. These pedal covers feature pyramid shaped spikes on the brake pedal, which actually BITE the soles of your shoes PERFECTLY, creating the ultimate (and unbeatable) friction surface where you want it. The throttle pedal is left smooth, so that your foot can roll on and off the gas smoothly. The automatic transmission set includes 2 pieces -- one brake pedal and one throttle/gas pedal.
Our pedals are anodized for a beautiful cosmetic finish that resists chips and flaking. Stainless steel hardware is included, as well as a basic installation guide (professional installation always recommended). These pedals are for left-hand drive (LHD), automatic transmission BMWs only (sequential manual transmission cars should use the manual transmission set).
