Our brake package uses the same replacement parts from the same manufacturers as BMW dealers use to service your car. The big difference is that we're able to offer these parts for a substantial savings from the dealer markup price. As an independent company we're able to buy our parts from multiple OEM suppliers whereas BMW dealers must buy their parts from BMW. We're able to shop from different vendors which gets you a better price while still maintaining original quality. You don't have to pay high prices at the dealer to get the same quality and performance!

In some cases, we offer performance alternatives to the OEM items. For an enthusiastic BMW owner, the standard BMW part may be inadequate and we offer an upgraded part, based on our almost 20 years of BMW tuning experience. We seek out high quality suppliers and designs that we would want on our own vehicles. Many times performance parts will fix a design flaw with the original BMW part, improving your performance at the same time.

This kit is a direct replacement for the standard floating and cross-drilled 345mm rotors in the ZCP Competition Package. This is brake overhaul for the ZCP and will not work as an upgrade for non-ZCP unless the ZCP front caliper brackets are used. 2004-2006 BMW E46 M3 ZCP (Competition Package)

This caliper bushing kit will eliminate flex caused by weak rubber caliper bushings. As the brake pedal is pressed the caliper grabs the rotor and twists on its mounting bushings. The rubber bushings allow the caliper to deflect and twist which affects pedal feel and results in uneven pad wear. These solid brass bushings will not twist or deflect so your calipers can squeeze the pads evenly on both sides of the rotor (sort of like what multi-piston big brakes do). This will give you much longer pad life and a more consistent pedal feel. This is the most complete kit we have ever sold with stainless steel caliper slide bolts, o-rings, and new dust boots. Unlike other kits, these bushings are pressed into the caliper and will not shift or slide on their own.

Installation is straightforward: remove the old rubber bushings and press in the new brass bushings (we recommend special tool 003326ECS03). High temp caliper grease or anti-seize is required. The new bushings include an inner o-ring that helps trap grease on the slide bolt, reducing friction and wear.

The Street 5.0 pads are perfect for drivers who don’t want an ordinary replacement pad and want something that will hold up during aggressive street driving. The Street 5.0 pads are similar to the established Hawk HPS pads but with more initial bite. In the pursuit of a really great brake pad for daily driving, we’ve tested a wide range of brake pads. After thousands of test miles, iterating through a variety of pad compounds, we’ve landed on the ideal blend for our DD23 Daily Driver ceramic pad.

Features:

Good stopping power - Brake pads need to stop your car, period, so this is key. We focused on selecting a compound that offers a healthy level of friction (both when hot and when cold) for safe, positive stopping power.

Positive initial bite - You should feel your brakes engage as you press the pedal, but it should not feel like an on/off switch! Advanced ceramic composition means you’ll enjoy a smooth transition on and off of the brake pedal, meaning your passengers will have a comfortable ride in stop-and-go traffic. We’ve hit a good balance here.

Very low-dust - Some factory-installed pads are eye-poppingly dusty, which is a no-go for us. Thanks to the composition of this ceramic pad, which is copper-free and contains a negligible amount of other metals, dust is both lighter in color and very limited in amount. We’ve improved on the “dust factor” without sacrificing on bite and stopping power as a good compromise, which will be a win for anyone who doesn’t detail daily (or anyone who does, too!)

Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. Extremely low metallic composition means they will not squeal. DD23 is comfortable and quiet - both on the ears and in lack of vibration transmitted through the cabin.

Long life - This should be an obvious one. Your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. This is another benefit to having ceramic material composition versus a softer organic pad (which have higher metallic and various organic elements) and wear much faster. Ours are kind to rotors, too (no accelerated wear characteristics) for many miles of motoring.

Features & Benefits:

Strong stopping power - Increased coefficient of friction offers satisfying stopping power when cold (a necessity for a street pad!) and even more G-force-inducing power when they warm up. With cold and warm friction comparable to Hawk HPS (and higher than many other street pads) the stopping experience with the EP24 pad is impressive for street-driven vehicles on streetable tires. Positive initial bite - Race pads have the reputation of acting like an on/off switch, which is a no-go for a pad for a street application. The EP24 offers OE-level initial bite for low-stress braking in stop-and-go situations. Reasonable dust - Race pads utilize a high metallic composition. Pads that use high amounts of metal not only dust terribly, but also will bake onto wheels with high temperatures and are a bear to clean. This is not the case with these performance street pads. Now using these pads on most of our shop cars, we’ve found over time that dust is comparable to factory pads in most applications (with greatly improved braking performance). Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. While not as quiet as our ceramic DD23 pad, you’ll still be able to drive your spouse to dinner. Long life - This should be an obvious one. Even in a performance pad, your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. This compound wears slower and is kinder to rotors than two of the top competitors.
