This is a short ram intake and filter kit that will go in place of the restrictive and unattractive factory airbox. With the factory intake you are limited to a finite amount of air, this leaves your engine under-served and limits induction noise. When it comes to the recipe for upgrading your E46 there are a few ingredients that you must have, power and sound. While you can add an exhaust for a bit more power and sound, the biggest difference you can make is adding power and sound under your hood with a high-flow intake.
