Is you BMW not riding and driving like the crisp cornering machine it used to? It's probably time for a new set of shocks. The factory BMW shocks typically only last about 50 or 60 thousand miles before they wear out and start failing. Failed, leaking or lifeless old shocks make your BMW feel unsettled, cause uneven tire wear and can even be dangerous. Your BMW's shocks are a critical part of the suspension system, and should keep your tires planted on the road. If your shocks haven't been replaced in 60, 80 or 100 miles, you are definitely due for a new set.

A 5-piece set of new OEM rear upper and lower shock mounts to complete your shock install or replace broken mounts (RSM). The top mounts on the shocks for the E82 1-series and E90/E91/E92/E93 3-series consist of 4 pieces -
A. rear upper-top shock mounts, 33506771737

In addition, there is a lower shock mount to locate the shock to the suspension (installs on spring arm), 33526768544.

That's a lot of rubber that takes constant deflecting and absorbing of cornering forces and impacts from bumps, potholes, etc. Replacing the RSMs is key to maintaining a quiet and comfortable ride. Price is for all 5 pieces.

Rear Shock Mount (RSM) Kit consists of:

Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time! To fully enjoy Dinan performance spring sets we highly recommend pairing them up with our supplemental ride quality and handling kits. This additional kit includes tuned. progressive rate bump stops that maximize suspension travel on the lowered car for improved handling capabilities and ride quality when compared to just a spring set. In addition to the bump stops this kit includes front guide supports that increase available suspension travel by 3/8" and Dinan rear shock mounts that provide an additional 1/2" of shock travel for improved ride quality and performance. By allowing for full compression travel within the spring the possibility of a sudden "bottoming out" is negated a common unwanted side effect when lowering a vehicle. Bump stops also have the added benefit of optimizing the spring rate rewarding those that use them with added mechanical grip and cornering power. Simply, put the Dinan supplemental ride quality and handling kits amplify performance and comfort when paired with performance spring sets.
