The crankcase oil vent system on the N52/N54 is one of its weakest and cheaply designed systems. We see crankcase vent issues on even stock engines but with more boost the problems are exponential. This Vargas upgraded PCV valve, and an oil catch can, are what the N54 engine needs and may alleviate most of your oil and boost leak issues. The PCV valve is supposed to let oil either return to the oil pan or pass through the intake manifold and get burned up in the combustion chamber. However, BMW used a weak plastic vent valve that doesn't seal well when under boost. Instead of  closing and venting the oil out of the intake, it's forced through this valve and into the intake and coating your valves with oil residue and carbon. Most boost equals more oil forcing its way by. This upgraded N54 PCV valve uses higher grade materials, including aluminum, to provide a better seal and prevent oil from entering the intake. It's an easy install and a must-have item when considering any turbo work.

Our E9X M3 carbon ducts are a direct replacement for the OEM plastic ducts to bring that finishing touch to the engine bay. These ducts are made using prepreg carbon and match the rest of our E9X M3 lineup for the ultimate OEM+ theme. We have also replaced the flexible joining piece between the ducts and the airbox with an EPDM coupler featuring our raised V logo. During development, consideration was given to add scoops to the front duct, but after analysis, we found there was no performance benefit due to the small opening between the ducts and the airbox so we opted not to add scoops. This also leaves the grill openings unobstructed for optimum flow to the radiator. The Eventuri carbon ducts are available in both gloss and matte finish to match our plenum, intake, and airbox lid. This alloy hard pipe fits to the throttle body and incorporates our high flow Blow off valve. This new valve fresh from our R&D department is the largest displacement valve that Forge have ever made ! Featuring a 50mm (2”) aluminium piston so that there are no issues with split diaphragms, we have not found the power handling limits of this valve yet ! The piston uses heat stabilised viton o-rings and high temperature Mobil 1 grease to ensure a long life with minimal wear and very long service intervals.

All parts are included in the kit, for your installation, along with comprehensive instructions.

The Burger Motorsports custom billet Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) cap includes an integrated heavy-duty check valve to let much-needed air in and prevent dangerous WMI vapor/fumes and liquid from getting out! Each cap is CNC machined in the USA from a solid block of billet aluminum, engraved with the BMS logo, and anodized blue for protection. Check valve piston must be lightly lubricated if tank shows signs of vacuum. One drop of penetrating oil or motor oil in the top will keep the check valve operational. With CNC machined serviceable/cleanable nozzle inserts for precise fluid metering. Choose single or dual nozzles and match the flow rate to your power needs! ​Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) nozzles are determined by the intended power and how many bungs your charge pipe has. These nozzles are 1/8” NPT and screw in to bungs included on most aftermarket charge pipes. BMS "super atomizing" nozzles are designed and manufactured by BMS and are known for their great atomization and flow characteristics. The number on the methanol injection nozzle represents the approximate gallons per hour of fluid when at full flow. Generally speaking running two smaller nozzles is preferred to one larger nozzle for an equal flow to improve fluid atomization and distribution.
