MMR's Competition intercooler for turbocharged F-Chassis BMWs improves power and torque output significantly by reducing charge air temperatures compared to OEM intercoolers. With a 70% increase in frontal surface area this version of the competition intercooler utilizes a tube and fin stepped core, effectively almost doubling the core volume of the stock unit. Even with its bigger size this intercooler only weighs around 8.6kg and ultimately exists as a great solution to increasing power output and lowering air charge temperatures.
