What makes the DMS unique?
Like all Rogue Engineering products, the DMS exhaust system is entirely designed and developed in the US in our facility in Hohokus, NJ. By doing the development, fitting, evaluation, and testing here, you're assured a product that not only looks and sounds great but a product you can have installed with confidence.
How much performance should I expect to gain?
In testing, replacing only a muffler or even the complete exhaust system on an E46 yields small measurable gains. Of course, these minute gains may be depicted on a carefully constructed dyno chart. Rogue Engineering looks at an exhaust with reality in mind, designing our exhaust to deliver great looks and sound, with minimal issues of fit. Of course, all of this at an affordable price would be a bonus. These are features that the Rogue Engineering DMS deliver!
For real-world exhaust performance gains, this typically means replacing the largest restriction, the catalytic converters, located in the factory exhaust manifolds. From there, free flow aftermarket catalytic converters could be added downstream, after the exhaust gas velocity had an opportunity to accelerate out of the engine, allowing for the most LEGAL gas velocity allowable. This course of action, however, typically can exceed more than $3000 plus installation.
Replacing the ENTIRE factory exhaust system (resonators and rear muffler) with larger tubing WITHOUT addressing the largest restriction is an exercise in futility. This kind of exhaust "upgrade" will generally cost needless additional installation charges, fit issues (can 6 clamps on an exhaust REALLY fit like factory?), and ultimately, drain your wallet faster than a Bugatti Veyron.

Want more rasp and volume to come through from your exhaust? This Supersprint section 2 will replace and delete the factory resonator that sits before the muffler. Without the resonator there to dampen the sound the overall volume will increase and let more S54 rasp come through. Combine this with the Supersprint section 1 straight pipes for even more Motorsport rasp. This section 2 pipe will bolt up to a stock section 1 or cat section and any muffler. It's perfect for getting just a little more volume from your stock exhaust without changing the muffler.

This Supersprint section 2 replaces the second of two resonators in the 323/328 exhaust. By deleting resonators you can gain a little more volume from the exhaust. The MACH Force XP exhaust system for the BMW 325i/ci 330i/ci E46 produced 13 horsepower and 15 lbs. x ft. of torque. This exhaust system is constructed from 2.25” mandrel bent 409 stainless steel and is MIG-welded for high strength. The system uses a true dual in and dual out high flow muffler with 2.25” tubing which improves performance across the entire power band while maintaining a great tone. To finish off this exhaust are dual, double wall resonated angle cut 304 stainless steel tips. This exhaust uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation. This is the original Supersprint street rear muffler for the E46 M3. It's a direct replacement for the stock rear muffler but with less restriction and better flow. Supersprint revised their rear muffler designs to offer this 'Generation 2' version - smaller body and freer flow than the standard Supersprint muffler but quieter and more civilized than the full Lightweight Racing mufflers. It's still lighter than the stock original or standard Supersprint mufflers.
